I agree with him for that game as it suits being in your 3DS all of the time, but the only reason I'm getting it on download instead of cartridge is because I bought three games in the promotion & picked this as my free download game. Otherwise I would have bought it on cartridge like normal. I'm reluctant to buy download games generally because Nintendo doesn't allow you to download them on every machine you own & I have a habit of getting more than one (I have a DS, DSLite & DSi).

It's a good reason for some people but for me it really doesn't make a difference. I always play my handheld games at home and typically focus on one or two games at a time. The slight convenience of not having to switch games isn't worth giving up a physical copy for me, even if Nintendo had a proper account system.

I've actually been planning to get the e-version for this very reason. I'll buy most of my games in card format because I don't really trust Nintendo's whole account system quite yet. But Animal Crossing is a game that I always want right there. I'll probably need to buy a bigger SD Card!

I'm only getting it because of the promo Nintendo made, and it was part of the deal, so it'll be digital for me anyway (Just like Trepe above).

I reflect on SirLink's opinion that this simple convenience isn't worth giving up on a physical copy. I like "owning" what I buy, rather than it being a series of 0 and 1 without any proper support. I want to be able to play what I buy on any console of the brand that I buy.

It would definitely be nice to have it on the system, but I love physical games too much... I carry at least 10 games around with me all the time anyway, so not a huge issue.

The price difference between digital download and retail doesn't make the digital worth it. £14 is quite a bit if cash when you think about it. + Nintendo lack any form of unified online system. I don't trust my purchases to stay with me system to system.

I think C3 reports too much news now-a-days.
Surely things like this could be bundled together with other titbits in a weekly roundup, rather than being their own new piece?

On the contrary, I think other sites don't report enough news. I enjoy having something to read every time I get on. Plus, if small news was all wrapped up into a weekly roundup, there would be large news droughts, as big news doesn't seem to come along very often.

Working like a fiend isn't very fun... and surprisingly isn't very fiendish either.

Definitely more efficient than constantly swapping it out with another cartridge.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

There's been 13 news posts in the last 2 days on C3. Personally I'd say that's too many, far too many.
I respect your opinion but there simply aren't 6-7 significant things that happen in the Nintendo/gaming world every day.

Expect A LOT more over the next two days.
