A lot of these franchises are important to people, have gotten good reviews, etc etc. Simply because you don't like them doesn't mean it's a legitimate reason for the games industry to give up on them all.

If your only argument for abandoning all these often acclaimed franchises is that they're crap (in your opinion), that's pretty much incorrect.
(if your argument was that those franchises make no money on the other hand.. that's a fair point, because they don't and that's why SEGA of the recent decade haven't been able to invent anything noteable because Valkyria Chronicles and Yakuza.)

Adding "in my opinion" to anything can make it sound like an opinion; that's a statement/theory, not an opinion.

@Super Ultimatly I mean they're crap in opinion but also in that many of those franchises make no money.

Anything can be an opinion, an opinion is a personal belief, a belief can be retarded or fundamentally wrong. For example in Nick Griffins opinion there is no such thing as a black Welshman. Just because someone says I personally believe something, doesn't make them immune from criticism or from being wrong.

Whatever dude.  An incorrect fact is not an opinion and vice versa.  Anything cannot be an opinion - an opinion is an interpretation of facts.  When there are no facts, there can be no opinion.  

I'll not rag on your precious SEGA anymore if that will make you feel better about me being "wrong".
