Yeah, Watch Dogs looks very interesting. In general, I like anything Orwellian in nature. It seems like a pretty ambitious game to try to pull off.

Just watched the Watch Dogs demo, holy hell that is impressive. Indeed it is ambitious. Was hoping it wouldn't burst into a gunfight for half the trailer - the hacker-centric thing on its own seems awesome and kind of niche like being a detective in LA Noire. But when it did - it looked awesome. How ambitious will they get with it? Can't wait to see more.

Wow, that looks fucking awesome. The scale reminds me of GTA and the way everything looks like it can be manipulated, both in terms of the hacking and causing crahes etc, is unreal. The freedom looks very impressive. Realistic NPC actions are another highlight, like the guy trying to save his partner in the car, and people conversing and hugging in the street. This is gonna be a big one. Fair do's to Ubi.

I think we agreed that Sony's conference needed more Sonic with Bows.

It also needed more Space Kraken. Can't forget about that.

Kratos vs Reggie. Sans bows. A real man's fight.

Um, check out the tags in this PS All-Stars video on the YT page.
Edit: lulz the tags have changed. For those that missed it, they simply said "supersmashbros, ssb" etc.

The Last of Us gameplay from Sony's conf.

Wow...I was wondering what's up with all the dislikes until I checked the tags...

Am I the only one that thought Last of Us didn't have enough bows?

Ok, so far my thoughts. Ubisoft > Sony > EA > Microsoft.

Microsoft was HORRIBLE. Halo 4 looked all right, nothing really new. Resident Evil 6 didn't look like a survival horror, more like an action packed zombie game, meh. Forza looked ok. South Park looked really funny (I'm not much of a South Park fan). Their new ip Ascend looked super generic. Matter looked interesting, but there was no gameplay footage. I don't remember the third one, looked like some Tron thing. WTF was Usher doing there? Kinect was stupid, especially with the Angry Birds 3D knock off game. The goblins were green too! All the entertainment stuff was unnecessary at the conference. Reveal all that stuff later. No one cares about it at E3. Xbox smartglass looked cool, but every single device you own better be a Microsoft one, or else you're screwed. Idk anyone who's gonna benefit from it.

EA didn't surprise. Just a bunch of sequels really. Simcity looked pretty awesome though. Dead Space 3 and Medal of Honor looked underwhelming.

Sony did all right. Too much talking, not enough showing games. I'm not interested in Beyond at all. Heavy Rain was pretty much quick time events interspersed with cut scenes, bleh. Battle Royale looked so dumb. http://kotaku.com/5915722/why-does-playstation-all+stars-battle-royales-youtube-page-have-a-tag-for-super-smash-bros Especially with this BS. God of War: Ascension looked ok, nothing to set it apart from others in the series. The Last of Us looked so outstanding. What I really loved was how perfect the timing of the dialog was with where the two were in the environment. Plus, it's set in Pittsburgh!! +1 Smilie I didn't really like Wonderbook. The point of books is to open up your imagination. You are supposed to create all the characters and setting in your head. This takes away from that.

Ubisoft so far had the best conference. Splinter Cell did not look good at all though. He's supposed to be a stealthy spy!!! It pretty much became call-of-duty-fied. Rayman looked AMAZING. Especially with the music level. I'm also intrigued by the Zombie Wii U game. They should show some gameplay footage of that. Far Cry 3 looked crazy, in a good way. AC 3 looked good, but there weren't any really big surprises. Just a demo. Watch Dogs looked incredible. Wow. So far either this or The Last of Us is game of e3.

Can't wait for Nintendo. They'd have to eff up real bad to not win Smilie

Wow. Could they be any more blatant about it.

lulz the tags have changed. Dirty, dirty. Maybe the guy who uploaded it was a bit of a joker.

Anyway, the Beyond trailer from the conf.

Heh, I bet he thought he was being clever at the time.

Haha, I made sure to make a screenshot of it because I knew they wouldn't stay for long. Smilie...I should really go and get some sleep now though or otherwise my body won't be ready for Nintendo's conference.

Watch Dogs looks fantastic. In addition to what you guys said above, I'm really happy to see a game that presents some social commentary. Plus, the game just seems like a lot of fun to play!

Also the way the characters interact in the Last of Us looks really great. As long as doesn't get repetitive (and it didn't in the video), this will make the game feel a lot more believable. It'd be more like being inside a movie than simply playing a game.

Yea, it looks like an action game. They learned nothing.

Just catching up on the conferences that happened last night, this got a big laugh;

Extends out into handlebars too. Never really liked wireless/baseless wheel grips like that though, really need something to hold. Smilie

I'd say this is appropriate, given the internet response to most of the conferences.

I actually laughed out loud. Smilie *starred*

So, was the Sony conference worth staying up for? I give it a miss this year. I loved Rayman Legends at the Ubisoft conference, it's my game of the show, so far. That will obviously change tonight though. Smilie

God, thinking about it Don Mattrick was such a bad host.. he looked so out of it / tired.

Much preferred Jack Tretton and I don't even own / play PS.

Last of Us looks cool too.

So...where's all the Vita games?
