If I can, I certainly will. Smilie

I usually do, unless it's super early in the morning, like Microsoft's one year (I seem to remember it being at 4 or 5am one time).

I'll probably miss the MS conference since I've got an exam that starts an hour before it, and I might give the Sony one a miss as well, otherwise my bodyclock will be back to nocturnal.

It's good to be done with my semester so early Smilie

Yeah, my Uni goes by terms at the moment, switching to Semesters next year.

Added this timer.

See you at the show, men.

Dude yuor totally awesome. And i won't be killing you anytime soon.

I know I'm biased towards Nintendo, but really, they're gonna have to fail really hard to not win E3. Just due to the fact that they are the only company (barring an unexpected Valve/Apple surprise) to reveal a console means they already won. I honestly have no predictions as to what Nintendo's gonna do. I have a feeling Microsoft's is gonna be the worse because they're gonna push the Kinect even more. I don't even think too many people care about Halo 4. Sony I think will have a pretty strong showing. They've been good ever since this debacle.

Bump,
Oh no!!! I thought my summer class went from 9-11. It goes from 9:50 to 11:50. Nintendo's conference is at 12, and my house is about a 4 minute drive. But, taking the time it gets to the car and into my room, it'll be really close!!! I knew I should have taken the second session. Plus, my arch nemesis from high school somehow made it into this class...

Not long now Smilie

Nintendo Network ID: LKR000               PSN: LKR000
3DS: 1246-8696-120                              GT: LKR101

E3 will be a nice distraction from revision. So many C3 students seem to be done, feel like it's just me who doesn't get to stay up and watch all the live streams. Smilie

Not really, mate; some of us have to work!

You're not alone Strat, I've got 8 exams coming up and the only conference I'll be able to watch is Nintendo's.

Less than a week left! Time for some pre-E3 hype:

I'll be away without internat access. boo.

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

Sweet. My exams finish this Friday so I should be fine with doing this. Smilie

Totally forgot about it last year.

Avoid Games Like the Plague, productivity++

Just bumping this thread because you know E3 kinda does start tomorrow.

Edit: Nintendo direct is tomorrow, don't miss it. Iwata is going to be showing some important Wii U information.

Nintendo are basically having 4 different conferences.

Anybody else think we will see the wiiremote mk3 with a wireless nunchuk? Its kinda overdue

mortal kombat 3? mario kart 3?

I meant wiiremote version 3.

I can't wait for the Halo 4 reveal. Definitely remember reading somewhere that there's probably going to be a 10 minute demonstration of a campaign level. With 4/5 months to go before it releases, there'll be no repeat of E3 2003 when we saw "Halo 2" for the first time. Smilie

Anyone else suddenly realize there's not many games to feel that excited about this year? Not sure if anything really interests other than the above, the new Tomb Raider and the new Need for Speed (because this one is from the Burnout team). Other than that it's all about the Wii U - for me they would win the show hands down if they announced Zelda alone.

That said, there's a few obvious calls they have to make: vastly improved online system, multi-touch and at least 2 tablets usable at once. If they don't make those announcements, I will be pretty de-spirited. Only a Zelda, Mario, Metroid reveal would take the edge off. Great Nintendo franchises can quell the dissapointment of console framework and hardware issues.

I forgot about Assassins Creed 3 - but thinking about it, I'm only excited for that because GT/Spike have excessively hyped it up in the last few months. Still, seems like an ambitious project - quite important in terms of restoring faith in long running third-party sequel games.

Well, that Nintendo presentation was interesting. I like what I saw.

Was that New Super Mario World, it would appear so.

Microsoft's is in a few hours, ne?
I'll probably be on the irc then.. Smilie catch you guys in DANCE CENTRAL.
