Sonic X

Did anyone see Sonic X on CITV last Wednesday at 3:40?
It's great!!!
So glad to see a new Sonic cartoon on the scene.

Sonic X?

It's terrible, they made it a kids Saturday morinign cartoon. They coulda made it a really good anime!

I have only seen adverts for it and tbh it doesnt look that good.

No, i didn't see it on CITV, but i saw the pilot episode on FOX on my holidays to america last summer, and i thought it was fantastic. Did you know that one of the missions in SADX involves a poster with Sonic X on it? it's in the swimming pool of the hotel.

I've seen a lot of the japanese episods, with and without subtitles, I can't believe I missed this, it wasn't in any tv mags, they all said it started next wednesday

I saw it and i think its good. Its a bit cheesy sometimes though although its far better than god awful sonic cartoon were they fought with instruments.

I saw it for the first time yesterday.

Kind of dissapointing... and crap..

I've yet to see an episode of it as I get home just as it finishes, but from what I've heard some find it good and others found it boring, a kind of split arguement...

Saw it yesterday coz of snow day, complete bull.

Tries to be funny, and fails, miserably.

I can't remember what it was called, it was on a fair time ago, but the futuristic sonic, that was a good series!

Ah I'm never gonna see it, school ends 25 minutes after it starts!

Then again maybe I'm better off...

I had high hopes for Sonic X. hopes that were quickly shattered.

Episode 1

Starts of great. Excellent intro until the "Chaos control" moment. I've put it in speech marks as I don't like Chaos control possibly being related to time manipulation.
Anyway, like with everyone that comes to Sonic is it so hard to believe in an post-apocalyptic earth (like most stuff from Japan), rather than making it a new planet or new time frame. Station square not hearing of Sonic? It's the main location of Sonic adventure, they have a giant gold statue of Sonic in the casino.
Other bad points. Chao. Keep them silent, don't make them like pokemon. "Chao, Chao", I shuddered when I heard that, seriously.
Oh and power rings. Look if you're going to use the rings, don't make it so Sonic somehow gets faster and stronger with one. It's just stupid and not related to the game at all.

Episode 2

The dialogue in this one puts Sonic the movie to shame (although not the voice acting, they didn't make Sonic a texan thank god). Oh and have they played Sonic advance 2? Cream can fly with her ears, and cheese can fly being a chao and all. Why did she need Sonic to get her over a gap she could easy fly over?

This makes the 9th Sonic universe (AoSTH cartoon, SatAM cartoon, prototype cartoon, underground cartoon, Anime cartoon, Archie comics, Fleetway comics, Sonic X and of course the games, or Segasonic). That's 9 different interpretations of Sonic, why? why can't they make a cartoon/movie that has a plot similar to the adventure games?

I'm a big Sonic fan, but I agree with all those that said it's crap. Like Thief101 said, they made it like a sat morning kiddie cartoon when it could of been a great anime.

perhaps ...but uou could just set a vcr top record it or buy sky plus if you were really desperate

there was a sonic program called sonic underground about a year or two ago
it was wierd because it had two new characters called manic and sonya who were sonics brother and sister, they were trying to find there mother or something.
that was the only sonic program i liked, sonic X is a step to far because of the humans that were introduced.

I seen the advert for it. It screamed crap. Anyway, I seen that one (where they fought with music) finish and Dr. Robotnik die. Or did he come back to life?

Oh well, as long as they don't try to resurrect the old (really old!) Zelda and Mario cartoons....

Lol, I've only seen a few random minutes from it, and from what I've seen, it's just hilariously bad. Sonic just sends these kids to do his bidding, and they get rewarded with flower crowns from this rabbit!?

I've only seen 5 mins of it, so not very accurate...

That one was horribly bad, the one before it was also rather bad but not as bad. Come on you were at least trying with the chaos emeralds, and I can't wait to see shadow (unless they somehow screwed him over too, which cannot be possible, him being the ultimate badass and all).

Nah Vector is more of a bad ass than Shadow.

You just can't have the chaotix 'crew' without him, then again the same could be said about Mighty, but no, Sonic Team had to exclude him just because teams could only consist of three characters

Lol, Sonic X - haven't seen much of it - just a few seconds when I was walking past this TV shop to the tube station.

As for Chaotix, they're really retro - came about in the SegaCD/32X days (during the Megadrive era) in "Knuckles Chaotix" - a game I really want to play just for the sake of completion.

They haven't really been around since then - made a few apperances in STC and I think in Sonic Fighters for the arcade too, that I'm unsure of.

I love the chaotix, although there not my favourite team in Sonic Heroes, there is something about them, the fact that there both new and retro, it's a Sonic fan's dream come true

I like the original one which i always got up too late to catch. Especially the end with the big block thing.

I love 'em too! 'Cept for Charmy, but who can't love Espio, the height of cool! I do miss the ol' Armadillo though...
