smart

I don't really get it. Is the lesson that the GameCube wasn't cheap enough?

The gamecube was a cheap looking overly plastic box that was purple.

No wonder it didnt appeal to young teens. People want cool tech not fisher price tech.

Interesting; I purchased the Gamecube a few years after its release, when Nintendo promoted it as a special €199 bundle, with platinum console, platinum controller, Legend of Zelda Windwaker and Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time (including the Master Quest.)

One best decisions I made in my life.

Well it's good to see their learning from their mistakes, hopefully Nintendo will realise that Wii U is not a well thought out name & change it before system's launch....if not then I guarenty they'll give their next system the PROPER name of Nintendo Revolution if the Wii U does poorly.

Sorry Nintendo, but image is half of the sale with todays market of ego driven Psycho SOny Only gamers.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

Yeh it doesn't really make sense. The Cube was easily the cheapest of the three, and Nintendo even dropped the price of the Cube in Europe (possibly the US too?) just before release! So I don't really see how the two are connected, other then the fact that the Cube didn't sell so well.

My Favorite ever Console..
Some of the best games ever made were on Cube.

I wish Nintendo would go back to the Gamecube design. It is by far my favorite design of a games console. It was so sturdy and solid that you could knock out a fully armored knight with it while it was still running a game. Try doing that with a Wii!
