I suspect it's a JRPG by Monolith Soft which will probably never make it outside of Japan. I'm now gonna dream of E3 2011 where Nintendo announces The Last Story, Xenoblade and this for the West...if that happens I can die happily.

PS: On the teaser site, instead of sx3j type in sx4j and it takes you to the Xenoblade website. The game logo also reminds me of them too and they have finished Xenoblade not too long ago and are working on a new game since. That's why I suspect that it's from Monolith Soft.

There's a lot of specualtion about it being Monolith Soft over at NeoGAF. Back in an interview I did with them a few years back, they said there were several Wii projects on the boil...and that was when we only knew about Disaster.

Could also be the long-awaited Matsuno Wii RPG...

BTW, I've heard positive rumblings about Xenoblade heading to Europe, and The Last Story HAS to be a dead cert.

Better be true about Xenoblade. Geez... I tried the japanese version a bit, and though I couldn't make a lot of sense of the story, I spent maybe... two hours just roaming the environments. The sense of freedom in that game is just so HUGE Smilie, and the environments ARE huge. It HAS to came to us Smilie... please...

A few other sites I've read on this say it's a first-party game. Sounds interesting. I don't know if I've ever relaly seen a first party IP from Nintendo with that kind of art style, but maybe they're going for something new. Haven't they been hinting at a new first-party ip for a while now?
Maybe they're looking to reinvent RPGs like they reinvented figherts with super smash bros.

Anyway, that's some great music, I think I'll be downloading the track. It sounds reminiscent of Riei Saito's music from Fragile Dreams, I wonder if the team behind that game is behind this one. Can't say I'd mind that at all Smilie

It's definitely looking like an RPG.
So, Wii's 2011, the year of the RPG?
Xenoblade, Pandora's Tower, The Last Story, and Dragon Quest X (potentially; but seriously, where's this game at?!).

"Do a Barrel Roll!"

it reminds me to galerians and xenosaga oh god so intriguing it makes me very curious Smilie

PS3 is just good for Catherine, Demons souls, Dark Souls, and Folklore
