Will 3D kirby ever happen?

I completely forgot about Kirby's 3D showing that was supposed to be released for the gamecube, but never came out. I guess it's stowed in the archives some where... possibly for next generation or near the end of the Wii's.

It was so amazing and looks much more interesting than epic yarn. Make me a lil sad, but with some hope it'll be in the works soon. Do you guys remember that?

I found another video possibly explaining why. The kid in the vid makes reasonable points as to what happened to the Kirby which leads to the how and why.

He connected the dots in ways that I now understand. Why have Kirby and his friends when you can have the entire nintendo franchise instead? Interesting...

I've never seen this trailer before, probably because I've never played a Kirby game yet. Kirby's Epic Yarn will be my first when it comes out in Europe in around a month.

Still, it looks like a lot of fun to me. I'd definitely buy a 3D Kirby game if it happens sometime.

Looks to me like it's a mix of the co-op possibilities of Superstar with the side-scrolling gameplay of Crystal Shards. The Subspace Emmisary definitely does have that HAL feel to it, but I wouldn't go so far as to claim that Adventure would be a clone of Emmisary if Adventure were to come out.

Hopefully HAL is still looking into this. It would be a horrible idea for them to cancel the project altogether.

Looks pretty ugly imo.

It was shown at E3 in 2005? I think? I heard Epic Yarn was really easy, but I've never played it. Its still supposed to be alot of fun though.

It reminds me of the New Super Mario Bros. for the Wii, Subspace, and Crystal shards wrapped up into one. If done correctly it has some real potential, but I haven't heard anything about it since.

Here's hoping for next gen... Or even 3DS. I hope not for the 3DS because its more money out of my pocket and if I had to choose between Nintendo console and handheld the console would win me over everytime.

Teetrab, I've had it since release and still play most nights. When you log onto the online bit, you see how many people are on the different servers etc, and its always over 800, most of the time 2000...so there's NO chance of you getting online and being alone! Plus I'm always happy to help people, and Link will probably muck in too. I'd recommend playing it with the classic controller pro too, makes things very easy and natural. As long as you don't mind getting battered by the monsters the first few times you fight them, and you have the patience to learn their attacks and increase armour/weapon ranks, you'll love it. I don't know anyone who has played it and doesn't like it. But then, I haven't asked anyone lmao

Also, look up the thread called "Anyone still playing Monster Hunter Tri?" there's a few on there who will probably help you out

Hehe, Scorp promoting the hell out of Monster Hunter Tri everywhere he can. That's perfectly fine though, the game definitely deserves it and we could use some more C3ers on there.

No, I think you're still ok. By far not as bad as my love for Zelda.

You know, now that I think about it it only makes sense that because Brawl is so popular that would put more pressure on them to make more Smash Bros. games.

Just a thought, I mean Kirby's AirRide came after Melee, but received bad reviews (personally I thought it was good). Perhaps the bad press combined with the success of the Smash Bros. series discouraged Hal from producing the kirby game.

Kirby 64 was one of the best Kirby games out there with the ability to combine powers together. That was very innovative and made a huge stepping stone in the gameplay. Looking at Epic Yarn really makes me want to punch Miyamoto or whoever responsible in the face. (I'm sorry. It was that bad.) No one should ever take Kirby's Powers away just so they can make an "kids game"
