Yes another newbie...

hey, i registered with the site ages ago, and checked back today and wow! what a design, well done to who ever was responsible for it! I will try to be a good member and post of the boards, and not be to much of a pain. I just have one question: How do you get your "level" up is it your post count or is it something else?

mmm, yes it seems mostly likely. what i still dont get is how some people have a higher post count than someone like you, david_reed48, and have a lower level? and some people have higher levels than others but have less blocks in the bar below the name. or is it just me?

It's the colour of the bars that count i think. They go to the top on one colour and then start at the bottom again on a new colour? It's the levels you've got to watch, like david_reed's got L50 Mr.Game and watch and he's got quite a high post count? others are lower/higher? I'm not quite sure, i haven't really looked at it much.

Let me try and explain. JB has set up 100 ranks I think. Now, in these ranks there are sections and colours. When you get to the top of one section, you move onto the bottom of the next and so on. As your post count goes up you move through the ranks. That make sense?

Welcome to the new and improved V5 Cubed-3 . As for the ranks I think it's best JB explains them fully, but basically it's the level that counts really. Your level increases as your post count does, the colour of the bar shows what group your currently in, this could be based on a series of characters for example. I'm not very good at explaining, best ask JB

also u gain user points by posting a new topic (dont spam to get ure post count up plz, unless u want to be banned) and other things like polls. this is unless it has all been changed.

Personally i prefered the old ranks im getting all confused by these new ones!

Really, I don't get how it can be confusing! They go up with your post count, post more, your rank goes up - it's just like the old but with smaller gaps between each.
