new pikmin?

I was playing brawl with my brother today on all-star mode and when we had to battle olimar i just remebered, is nintendo still going to make a pikmin 3? i might of mistaken this for that wii control pikmin but still does anyone know if they are going to make a pikmin 3?

Hmm...hopefully it doesn't go with the ways of the new 3D Kirby game that was promised. I enjoyed 1, but I didn't get a chance to go back and play 2. I should do that sometime.

Yeah, Pikmin 3 is confirmed to be on the way, as Echoes says. Wish they'd hurry up with it though.

I have actually have seen a picture of just pikin 3 and then flowers around it and the word wii somewhere, so I am not sure if it is fan made or nintendo made it and put it on google but I know they are making pikmin 3 for sure.

They should add a new color of pikmin to the game like pink or green.

When Miyamoto announced Pikmin 3, I'm guessing that no work had even begun on the game. He just said it to shut people up after Nintendo's disappointing E3 last year.

I don't think we'll hear anything about it till next year.

Probably but it somehow leaked out from nintendo because everyone knows that there will be another one.

Did they say anything about wich console they are releasing Pikmin 3? Wii or DS?
I really hope they still are working on Pikmin 3 and doing progress. It\'s one of my favourite games-series, and I\'m really looking forward for the third game.

I hope they will make some new types and new enemys as well. I don\'t know wich new colours the Pikmins could get, but I hope Nintendo knows.

Oh, and if they made some kind of online multiplayer, like in Pikmin 2, it would be really appreciated.

How well did New Play Control Pikmin on Wii work without a C-stick? Was the stick mapped to the Wii remote's D-pad? Somehow I can't imagine playing Pikmin without the analog control the yellow nub offered.

Hey everybody! I was just searching for some information on this topic. Does anyone know more good forums or other similar resources about this?

I would love a pikmin 3. Was it confirmed for wii or are we expecting a pikmin 3ds? I think it would work really well on the 3DS, apparently the original inspiration for pikmin was myamoto watching ants in his garden. They could do some interesting perspective effects with the 3D, almost make it look like your screen is a magnifying glass

I want a portable version on 3DS also.

as said by others b4 pikmin3 will arrive ( probably as a launch title for their nxt console) but it wont be on the 3ds. if their were to be a handheld version it would be either a rehash of 1 and 2 that uses the 3ds features or something completely new and would go under a different name.

Pikmin 3 is still supposedly in development for Wii, last time Nintendo said anything about it. It remains to be seen, though...they're certainly pushing it as one of their big franchises with the launch of 3DS, featuring in the AR cards and the built-in games, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it on 3DS at all.
