DIY Guitar: The Templateninging (guaranteed better than the Happening, or your money back!)

So, as none of you will remember, for you are gamers of the internet generation and have the attention spans of a gnat with ADHD, I have taken it upon myself (myself being me and my dad) to build a guitar out of an old bit of mahogany.

Now, I have already ordered the pickups (a pair of cream Wilkinson P90s) and will order more bits and pieces tommorrow.

However, what use is the hardware if the body that holds it is fuck ugly?

Now, I just can't choose between the two. A looks like a les paul (being based upon a mirrored lp) a design I adore, yet B has a certain style that does the opposite of A and stands out more, in my learned opinion.

So, what better way to decide, than to leave it to the fine gents of the INTERNEEEETS?

Personally I prefer the Les Paul Style (Image A) as it's smoother and just looks really nice. If I where you, thats what I would go for

See, it's tough, because I know it looks nice, but I wonder if it looks too close to the Les Paul Doublecut.

Captian, try opening them in separate tabs and flicking between them, easier to see the differences then.

I don't know a damn thing about guitars...but I think I prefer A. I'm not sure why...I just do. ^_^;

I would prefer guitar A, I do not know why but it just seems like it would be better when you made it but the choice is up to you we are just helping so yeah if you want to choice A you can, you do not even have to listen to me so good luck choosing

I think B is a little more dynamic. It's still nice and classy, though. I think you'll be happy with either one.

It doesn't matter. Just don't do it. Ever.

It's just when you submit a post twice in a row. There's no need to that since there's an "edit" button on each of your posts. It can be a little annoying to see two posts in a row from someone.

Guitar B. There's not much in it, and they're both almost the same. I'd go for B personally, because the lower cutaway is a tiny bit bigger, allowing easier fret access. It balances this out by having a slightly bigger body, overall. More wood, more tone, etc.

A. Looks a bit PRS-y. I'm a not a fan of slants to the side, they look a bit amateurish and cheap. Or something. A looks like you mean business.

Meh, it's all about how it plays and sounds.

Well, it looks like they're fairly even, so what I'm going to do is get a router template cut out for both of them so I can see what they look like in the flesh.

Mate, just pick one. They're nearly the same. You're taking the whole 'vote' thing too seriously. Just go with the one you think you'd prefer.

Fuck it, B's the most unique.

I can go for that, and if I hate it more than the Nazis hated socialism, I can always route it down. Plus, I have enoug mahogany for 4 guitars.

Fuck off, you know as well as I do that its not how good the guitar sounds, its how expensive it is.

I have changed my favorite to B I don't know why it just looks better.
