OK, I found this on the gamesradar.com forum. It states that a free memory card IS INCLUDED in every box, juts like I said earlier....
How can I get a hold of Animal Crossing?
The only way will be to import the US game and buy a freeloader which enables you to play US games on your PAL GC. Best place to go for this is Goblin Direct That do a nice little bundle.
What is the main purpose of the game?
This is a tough one, as you can't label AC as a specific type of game. There's nothing similar to it you see. The best thing I can say is that you basically move to a town where you a given a house. You have to upgrade and decorate your house to your own style. Other animals move into your town and you can do jobs for them and send each other letters and gifts. It sounds so simple and basic, but it's addictive as hell.
The trees I've planted haven't grown, why?
Chances are you haven't planted them in the right place. Try behind the dump or chop down a Tree and bury a new one in it's place. Being patient is the key!
How does the trading system work?
Basically, there is a guy that runs a store in your village. You talk to him and he will ask you for the players name and town. For instance my name is Scoot and my town is Woodland. You then give him the item you want the other person to have and in return you will be given a unique password. This password you then give to Scoot in Woodland and he will receive it when he puts the password in. You can also trade by putting yours and a friends memory cards in one GC.
What happens when I connect my GBA to AC?
By linking a GBA to your GC you can use it to design patterns for certain items, play any NES games you find and download to your GBA and travel to an island close to your village which is only accessible when you have a GBA connected.
How many memory blocks does it take up?
All of them I’m afraid. But you get a free Memory card with AC which contains 2 special gifts from Nintendo…
Why are there 4 houses in my area ?
You can have up to four players per memory card/village. Unless anyone else joins your game (ie real people) then these will stay empty.
When is the PAL version being released?
Never by the sounds of it.
[new] Do i have to play Animal Crossing eveyday?
If you don't play Animal Crossing everyday, weeds will start to grow in your village. Your townspeople will leave and the ones that stay won't talk to you. Your house will also be infested with cockroaches.
[new] Do I need by GBA connected to play the NES games?
You don't have to have a GBA to play the NES games in the first place. You can simply go into your house and select the NES game you want to play and play them on your TV. If you download a NES game to your GBA then as soon as you turn your GBA off you lose the NES game you downloaded. You can disconnect the GBA, but just not turn it off. So when you go to the loo you'll be able to play on the NES games. Isn't that right Blunted?
[red] What's the differance between Regular and Exotic fruit?
Regular fruit is the fruit that is already growing in your town when you start, and exotic is fruit you have introduced to your town.
[new] If i miss an event, can I time travel back?
Yes you can, but i wouldn't advise it. Do to this you simply change the clock in AC land before you boot up a game. But don't do it. Your Feng Shui (basically means luck) will drop dramatically as they will class you as cheating. This means you shouldn;t expect to get any rare items for a while. Other things like the villages will ignore you too.
