*is totally impressed with the animation of the spider*

I\'m still very much liking the look of this. Glad my parental unit decided to buy a Wii so I just have to pick this game up, and not a Wii along with it.

Well, I\'ll pick it up if the controls work.

I\'m pretty impressed by the graphics, though I\'m not going to elaborate, I might just be blind.

EDIT: Finished watching the entire vid. I\'m VERY impressed with what they did here. We need more games like this!

I wanted to make a spider based game last year, but more like Knytt.

The graphics are pretty decent for a Wii game. But those who played it said the gameplay during the combats is a bit clunky. But they also said that the developpers had delayed the game in order to improve this part of the game so who knows !

I'll be waiting for the first reviews before i decide whether to buy it or not.

Have heard a lot of good things about this; and it doesn't look too bad either! Hopefully they've really tightened the controls

Sure, this game looks ok, but if you only just got a Wii, theres stuff to catch up on before you should consider this;

Mario Galaxy
Metroid Corruption
Zack & Wiki
And Okami

Should at the very least take priority!

Already had a Wii of my own, but sold it due to a lack of games to keep me interested (even Super Mario Galaxy got old pretty fast for me), but for some reason my parent+stepparent decided to buy a Wii again. Probably to do with my stepparents addiction to games and my soon to be addicted to games little brother^^

Only when I had it I didn\'t have the money to by some games I wanted, and ironically those were exactly the games you mentioned except for SMG.. So, yeah, I\'ll probably still be getting those games anyhow XD

EDIT: I just realised; How DARE you not include SBB on that list! Definitely one to pick up (I know I did as soon as I heard we were getting a Wii again) :3

I don't see why. It's not like you need to buy and watch a couple of classic movies before watching The Dark Knight when you just got a DVD player.

Games are harder to come by (in my experience) than DVDs once they get older, so I don't think it's a fair comparison.^^

Not if you do your shopping online. I'm sure you can find all of those games if you google, be it new or second-hand.

It is a fair point actualy.
Beyond Good and Evil is getting increaseingly rare on the cube.

Can't believe Galaxy got old though...some of the later levels are wonderfull and very inventive.

As for no SMBB, bad me!
Allthough in my defence, I'll say that games probably not as universaly amazing as the others. (I mean, its a great game,but a bit like Mario Kart on the DS, it improves and adds to everything rather then anything new in itself).

Very very, the kind of game that Nintendo really should be making.

Very nice to see such fluid animation on a console that graphically is being let down by developers.

Damn it, this game looks like it could be really fun, but I don't think I could stomach playing it. Parts of that video made me feel a bit sick. Damned arachnophobia. >.< Spiders in games don't usually bother me, but that did a bit. Probably because there's so much focus on the spider and the rather realistic movement. Shame.

Anyway back to topic.

The game looks quite nice, captures the desert quite well.

The combat looks a bit repetitive but the exploration looks fun.

You know the game looks promising, with quite a lot of work and passion obviously gone into it. But I am not sold on the concept, going around killing insects doesn't appeal to me.

Funny, I usually scream like a girl when a spider gets too near (glad they don't do that a lot), and I absolutely love this^ XD.. Though I actually do like Spiders.. or the way they look, I just don't want them near me at all in RL^^'..

I sure hope this is fun. There's obviously been a lot of work put into it and it looks great.
