Nice interview, wasn't expecting a Fire Emblem interview!

- The talk of the FE series not always having to stay in the realms of SRPG

- Sales have impressed so far, which bodes well for other remakes!

Ah yes, it did come out today, went to my local Gamestation and asked about it, for some reason they weren't on the shelves but who cares, i got my copy, this is gonna be fun

I was fairly annoyed at how there are no reviews of this game anywhere on the internet.

Easiest to get into aye? I may try this then...I do find strategy games quite complex but if he's to be believed then it should be simpler.

It definitely is. The game starts with 'Normal' and 'Hard' modes. In Normal you're guided by the hand to start with, as there are lots of Tutorial tips that pop up when new features can be used, plus the difficulty level itself is not a killer either. I've managed to get through the Prologue stages and first few chapters without losing anyone from my team yet.

Been playing around with the online battling as well, which is very tense as you can only see the areas of a map directly around your team members, meaning when you stumble across the opponent it can be quite a shock!

Thoroughly enjoying this so far...looking like a definite 9/10 right now. With Nintendo not sending out review copies yet, reviews will be slow coming in from many places since it's a very long game and sites won't have had chance to play it enough to give a fair review. I'm hoping I'll get mine written up early next week after a weekend of Fire Emblem overdosing :-D

Sounds good - I too have wanted to get into these kind of games; I've tried a few similar games to FE on the Gameboy but always found it a little tedious - may look into this for DS.

Great interview. I'm currently playing through FE DS and loving it. Too bad my Marth is getting such pooey stat lv increases.
