Metal Slug 7 is coming out in a week and no one seems to be talking about it. It's a rather big deal to me as I've been waiting forever for an arcade-quality portable Metal Slug game. I played a bit of the import version and I liked what I played so I'm definitely sold.

Not to mention this trailer practically commanded me to purchase it:

It looks absolutely gorgeous. I've never played a Metal Slug game before and I get the feeling I won't be good at them either. Is it really hard, or should I be able to cope with a little bit of practice?
Too bad it's on DS though, my hands get cramped when playing that. The reason I've decided to stop buying games for it unless they are touch screen only. Smilie

Yeah its a hard game but that only makes it better.
I like the metal slug series but Im not sure that Im will to pay full price for just one of its games. Metal slug anthology on the wii however was very much worth the money.

Difficulty kinda depends on which game. Like the first two Metal Slugs aren't too difficult while MS3 is insanely hard. This one is skipping the arcades so I don't think it'll be as cheap. If it's like the past games there will be a difficulty option.

Also, while my hands don't get cramped I don't like playing DS games for too long. Thankfully this is an arcade game so I can just take it a level or two at a time.

Yeah, if this was a console release I probably would have skipped it but an arcade quality Metal Slug on the go is something I can't pass up.
