Ubisofts FarCry2 PS3 and 360 Footage

Got the game earlier today and liking it so far, it\'s not perfect though, it clearly has it\'s issues in single player, one\'s I hope they will fix via a patch down the line. I like most of the weaponry, right now I am popping the Mac 10 and a Bolt Gun which is awesome, some other weapons like the G3 are cack though. Shame about the lack of lean, it would have aided better stealth play. The machette is cool The save system is a little lame it has to be said..

The Editor is awesome though, very easy to use and great fun to play around with. MP is great also. Far Cry 2 is definitely a good game; alone in the jungle, making your own way, or fighting with some buddies.

It sure does look impressive on PC maxed out, but in truth it\'s not as good as Crysis which is disappointing to me. The Jungle environment is OK but lacks the level of immersion you get in Crysis and Crysis:Wars. It has not got much to do with technical prowess at all, but instead art direction. The other landscapes are of course good though even if they also lack the quality of art also. Great sound, it\'s worth noting how excellently the stage is set with sound and music.

I am about 8 hours in now..

Nice, I'm picking it up for the 360 tommrow, Map Editor 24/7 for me.

I've been playing for the past 4 days and i'm very impressed with the map editor. Single player on the other hand is disappointing in my opinion has a gta in africa feel but without any real story or plot to it. The AI are extremely good i must say but even they have bad days or amazing vision as is common in many shooting games. Online is extremely good but the refreshing of player match experience makes playing user created maps slightly ridiculous and not as enjoyable.

Probably an 8/10 from me.

If anyone is trying to pick between this and dead space i say get dead space that game was amazing.

Finished it, it was a good single player but not great imo, it could have been much better if the story was stronger.
