Action replay ruins gamecube games.....

Really i think using it messes up your game!!!!! i used it in animal crossing and then Swoosh this and that and it got the game mixed up! I had other games and it ruined them also!! YOU GUYS SHOULD NOT USE ACTION REPLAY ON YOUR GAMECUBE GAMES!!!! Also dont just buy a game and use action replay right away its no fun you dont get to enjoy the game! i only use action replay only if im sooo stuck on a part in the game. So remember how dangerous action replay if you dont use it right!!! ::trys to fix his messed up games:: :hammer:

Don't get me started on cheat disks. I used one I got free with a magazine on Animal Crossing - automatic save - ruined the game - 3 months of continuous...daily...effort...all gone

Deep breaths Mr.gameandwatch. It wasn't technically an action replay, it was a CUBE codejunkies cheat disk which I suppose is kind of the same thing.
You seem to hate Action Replay almost as much as I hate my Joytech memory card.

Definitely stay away from third-party memory cards...I had a Nuby card for PSX and nothing stayed saved for more than a month or two, I could never finish a game unless I played it nonstop.

I like it - I never cheat, but I use it to expose different "easter eggs" hidden in games (small bonuses to discover) after I've completed the game once first. The only problem is if you load more than one cheat, it takes up your GC's RAM - but the instruction manual warns about this. My advice is to copy the save file before you use the cheat - so you have a back-up.

As for 3rd-party memory cards, well - I've never had any problem with my Datel Mega Memory 16x - and infact its one of the best value things I've ever bought!
