Dark conflict? I thought it was Days of Ruin?

That appears to simply be the US name, with Europe getting a different moniker. Sounds very 'edgy'...

I heard its Dark confilct in Austallia and Europe now...but i can't remember where i read that.

Ah okay. Never understood different names for different regions...

Anyhow, hopefully its true. Apparently, the US is getting the game in January too, so it'll be nice if we can all get the game at the same time. Looking forward to it and some online fun!

Doesnt this one have online play as well? That was the one thing that would have made the first even better than it was, even though the Wi-Fi connection hadnt even gone live when it came out...

Yep, that's why people are so shocked. Not only has the game basically come out of nowhere, complete with barely any hype, but it's set for a practically simultaneous release with the US in two months!!

EDIT: This game has four-player local wireless battles, plus two-player Wi-Fi battles, complete with Voice Chat.

Only two people online is a bit disappointing...hopefully that part of the rumor isn't true.

Its likely that I won't play with more than one person, but it would be nice to at least have the option to have a four player match. I don't understand why they couldn't except maybe to keep the length of a match down. Its not like Advance Wars is pushing the DS to the limits.

Id be more interesting in a player-map-submission system.

The map editors in the series have always been a nice touch, it would be nice to be able to upload/download them to a sever, vote for the best ect.

Purhapes even have "challanges" associated with the maps. (eg, special mission conditions that apply to the map)

A map center has already been confirmed for the game. You can download, trade, and rate other maps.

I'm sure the 2 player WiFi battles will be within friends. You may be able to do matchup, but I doubt those will have Voice Chat. Why does the DS have Voice Chat and not Wii? Big consoles are much more suited to it than portables if you ask me... mainly because the sound quality can be so much better.

I import all my DS games so eh...

I'm sick of continually being shafted with prices and release dates.

The sooner it comes out, the better. Can't wait to get Dark Conflict.

Yer I agree Dual Strike was brilliant, seeing as that was my first look at advance wars I was very impressed by it.

The gameplay is tight the difficulty was crippling I loved it, even the local multiplayer features were great!

Just adding the whole map sharing and online play only sweetens the deal further, definatley a title i'm going to buy
