Big Brother 07...

Love it or Hate it its back with authority. So whos gona be watching it, who isnt? Who loves it and who doesnt?

Genral day by day discussion can be done here I guess.

Personally I hate it, I cant stand reality TV like this. Billy Conoly said it best: "Your sitting in a house, watching people sitting in a house!" BRILLIANT!

Anyway, just flicked it on, seen the tiwns...may have to give this series a look

It's even worse this year as there's more of those Big Brother's Big Mouth type shows eating up the Channel 4 schedule. George Galloway's presenting one...

I still hate the way they show it late at nights around 2:00am when all the freaks are asleep. Watching them snore and toss and turn in their beds, wow! Really exciting stuff.

Rather they just put on a film instead.

To be honest, they shouldnt even discuss BB outside of the actual daily summary programs.

I hate those stupid "studio" audience gatherings with some gayass presenter chatting shit to the mindless drones out there.

Oh god - so agreed on both of those points. I cant fucking stand Russel Brand, I hate his guts. Hes just a stupid idiot who got famous presenting some idiotic talk show...really shines a light on the British publics idea of a good celebrity now a days dont it?

Must say though a few of them are quite hot...shame

Personally i hate the fucking show... what a fucking waste of your life... go and do something productive... i dont know clean the toilet, wash some dishes, go for a walk, wash your hair.... why would you stnad there and watch some fucking idiots in a house.... i really dont like this show... well i dont like reality shows at all tbh... meh!

As for those discussion shows, tonights was great with Chris Moyles

I wouldn't hate Big Brother so much if you could actually escape it. But you can't. It's all over the radio, all over the telly. Half your mates won't stop talking about it. Blegh. It wouldn't be so bad if it just fucking stayed on Channel 4, but it doesn't. It ruins the mass media for two months of the year.

I loathe it for this reason.

We all hate the show, yes. But you can't deny it wouldn't be a shitload of fun to actually be in the house. I hate the show, but I may apply to go on it one season. It's on straight after the Simpsons every weeknight here so while I don't actually watch it, I just have it on while on the 'puter or something.

EDIT: Just going by my local TV guide, there is 15 hours 40 minutes of Big Brother every week here. That is assuming the Live Shows don't go over time, which they always friggin' do! So not only is it a crap program; it also interferes with the quality television shows. Well, what little there is left of quality television.

It's things like that which make me think it's sick. I mean, surely, don't make a public spectacle out of the girl's dad dying? Some things are more important than ratings, surely?

It'd be more fun if their was some chance of one of them dying. Like they have to escape but may get shot like in The Great Escape; or like Murder in the dark where one of the house-mates gets wasted and u have to play cludo with the killer being one of them. Now that would be good for ratings! Vote to execute the least like member. That way u'd be removing the retarded house mates from society.

Maybe even deprive them of food and then have them fight to the death for food. I should submit this to ch4 see if they'd put it up. Maybe I'll try somewhere a bit more radical too as back up; whats Russian Tv like? I wish BB was outlawed as a mockery to man kind...

The decision has nothing to do with ratings :/ .

The girl entered the house knowing that her father would most likely die during her time in the house because he had been extremely ill.

It was also her father's wish that if he died whilst she was in the house that she not be told about it until she leaves.

This was a decision made by the family before she entered the house. The people behind Big Brother are only honoring that decision, and they are in no way publicizing or commercializing the situation :/ .

It's generally a good idea to do a little research before passing judgment on matters :3 .

I have never seen any and intend to keep it that way. If they conducted a genuine social experiment, then I would watch it. What about religious Big Brother? A Jew, a muslim, a hindu, a catholic, et cetera - now that would be worth watching.

Otherwise, geriatric big brother - farting, stained underwear, the complaining about young folk - that would be funny.

What about refugee big brother - the winner gets to stay in the country. That could be fun.
