Couldn't the DS be able to make these graphics?

Yea, I think so. The DS could probably pull off a reasonable rendition of MGS, actually.

I can't stand all the horrible warping on ps1/saturn/gba/ds, it's so grim. The Saturn actually does it the least.

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

...thats more likely a PS1 tech demo from 1993 or something...maybe a delayed project for Konami?

I wouldnt mind seeing MGS just ported to the DS, the touch screen options wouldnt be to bad to select weapons and stuff....although i do like the pause in the game that you get when you select different weapons.

Either way, the GBA doesnt really need 3D games, but what would you call games like Ecks V-S Sever?

Whats the point, GBA is gone now.

Gears wasn't as expensive to make as some games though. I can't remember where I read it now....

edit: GoW costs 10m with 20-30 people. That's not all that much at all.

Shenmue cost 70 million.

Also...why does everyone think this looks great?

It's basically just cubes....6 polygons....Or 5 even, since one is against the floor.

Not to mention the horrible warping probably form some shitty drawing algorithm which is mathematically limited by the cpu.

It's running on a GBA a system that didn't have a dedicated 3D chip...so it is fairly impressive looking for a GBA.
That said most 3D games on the GBA were complete rubbish they made nice tech demos thats it.

I dunno, it DID sold more than the PS3 in March. Remind you that the PS3 is new and the GBA is very old.

Oh and the thing about the graphics, Katamari is worse looking that Wii Sports, yet they give those games a graphical high comparble to GRAW. So what is the point really?

I just really wanna know if a game is fun. Genji 2 anyone, sure it looks good but...MASSIVE DAMAGE!!!!

The reason katamari looks crude is because it has hundreds of objects, it's actually quite impressive I think.

GRAW is on a completely different machine...

As you can see with Beautifull Katamari and other games, you can have tons of objects and not make it look N64 quality.

Its an art-style. Look it up.
