I saw some extremely tiny screens from Harvest Moon Wii posted over at GoNintendo so I thought I'd share, dig up your magnifying glass or ready the zoom button and enjoy:

After the sham that is Magical Melody, I'm not interested in HM any more. They've sucked it dry and put nothing in, and I doubt any additions in this game will be of any value, just crap gesture controls most likely (Linkyshinks will love it though!).

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

No need to troll.

A Wonderful Life was terrible. I haven't played it yet, but Magical Melody looks better. I know two of my friends like Magical Melody a lot more than AWL. They both loved Harvest Moon 64 (as I did) and got bored of AWL after a month (as I did, if that long. Harvest Moon is a game that should last longer, it's not like we finished it in a month). Magical Melody is supposed to be closer to the 64 version, I hear. At least it has festivals (not just one or two a month that you can't do anything but scroll through text either...).

But this is about the Wii game, not Magical Melody....

I'll probably get it. How soon depends on just how good it. It looks better than AWL, that's for sure. Smilie

IT'S A MONKEY. Smilie

yeah WTF since when are monkies and bears kept on a farm!! Smilie

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

Double U Tee Eff? Have you never heard of such great products as Bear Milk and Monkey Cheese?

A wonderful life was epic, i lost countless hours on it.

Mike Gee of iZINE said, "...The Verve, as he [Richard Ashcroft] promised, had become the greatest band in the world. Most of the critics agreed with him. Most paid due homage. The Verve were no longer the question mark or the clich. They were the statement and the definition."

Hmm... I may get this because I'm loving AC:WW and would like a game like that to play on my TV instead of the small DS screen.

They have alot to incorperate

^ Smilie, for anyone wishing to read Grumbler nonsense click link at bottom of page.

This game look like it will be be good, but they have alot of new aspects to incorperate if they wish to prolong the series, potentially this can be as good as AC but that will not happen unless it is comprehensive in it's approach, and games like this cry out for some online features like say taking livestock and produce into competitions, i just hope they have approached this version in a refreshing way. IT HAZ MONKEYZ?! SOLD!

{ Monkey Wii. ~ Nirbis Hater ~ Nintendo Fanboy }
I HERD U LIEK TEH MUDKIPZ?

I'm gonna get this JUST for teh monkeys.

The screens look nothing special, I need details on what has been improved/new things till I can really see if it's worth a purchase.

Having just about every Nintendo version of this series (Gameboy Colour, SNES, N64, Gameboy Advance, Gamecube and DS), I am not about to stop now.

A Wonderful Life is my favourite - each to their own. A Wonderful Girl's Life is just as much fun - oooh the dreamy boys (bloody hippy, Elvis - I need cuter guys to bring out my girly side). I am still yet to get fully involved in Magic Melody.

I agree with LS generally, it does need to offer more, but I do not expect a game this early in Wii's life cycle to do so. I will still be there preordering it no matter what.

Temporarily banned until further notice.

Harvest Moon is the most boring game ever, but... It does have a monkey in it...

Nah it's still the biggest waste of money ever...

I've never really gone for the series, simply because the aim doesn't really interest me that much and most of the games seem to force you to work for quite a while before you can actually enjoy them. It's like Animal Crossing's sadistic older brother. (Actually, that would be one hell of a game:

'Have you grown me some turnips yet, hm?'
'No Mr. Nook sir, please give me a few more days...'
'Well, I could do that. Or I could do this... (whips out shotgun and riddles player full of bullets) ...hm?')

Playing out your dark side?

Perhaps we should have Harvest Moon: World Economy. In this, you get subsidies from government to cover your inefficient work practices. Or perhaps you try to export your produce, but have to appeal to the WTO because of excessive trade barriers. What about the one where PETA blockade your farm and you have to negotiate with them. Perhaps, you enlist Prince Charles when you go organic.

The real life possibilities are endless.

Harvest Moon 64 had a monkey, gosh dangit! Smilie

All of this Harvest Moon talk has got me in the mood to play HM 64. Very nostalgic that game is. So pleasant and relaxing to.

Yah, but in the N64 days I didn't actually BUY GAMES FOR MYSELF.

But all of you guys should have been old enough to, FOR SHAME. Smilie

But yah, depending on the role of the monkey, the game is as good as sold. Also the graphics are pretty good.

Jeez back in the N64 days, being a young lad with no sense of quality, I just bought w/e game had a cover that interested me. Thankfully most of them were one of the best games you could get on the N64.

I don't even remember seeing a Harvest Moon on N64. =/

I don't think it got a PAL release (correct me if I am wrong). I have an NTSC N64 and obviously an NTSC copy.
