Super Mario World, this will hold me over until I am yet again reunited with Legend Of Zelda: Link To The Past.

The NES classic, 'The Legend of Zelda: The Adventure of Link' (800pts), has now washed itself ashore, no doubt to open arms. Or perhaps not, for those who were anticipating A Link to the Past. Nevertheless it's a sure classic.

If by "sure classic" you mean "notable as one of the worst Nintendo developed games ever," then you're right!

I agree, had a brain lapse there. Though it wasn't terrible, just not well remembered.

Zelda II the Adventure of Link was an awesome game. I just hope that Nintendo implements the same RPG elements into future Zelda games.

super mario world still is the greatest mario game ever made, unfortunatley, i already have it!

Now I just need to remember what I said last time...

EDIT: Ah, yeah, Super Mario World is a dead cert for me. I just need to get a few more Wii points now >.<

I like Zelda II, and I don't think its as far removed from the rest of the series as people say, they never went back to side-scrolling but a lot of elements survived in later games. But 800 points... I think thats too much when you compare it to other NES games, it should be 500.
*EDIT* is it 500 or 800? Your writeup says 800 but I've just noticed the press release says 500.

At last Super Mario World! I was so disappointed when it wasnt available for the EU launch of Wii, like many others I think it is the definative 2D side scrolling Mario adventure. I still think the cost is a little on the steep side, but I'm willing to pay for such a great game seeing as it is really difficult to get a good quality hard copy for the SNES.
