Not really, the PS2 couldnt handel textures anywhere near that crisp.
It dosnt have the ram for it.
For that mater, they look sharper then Zelda.
But then, they dont look as good, and the sky just looks really out of place for some reason. Too cartoony.
Even TP's crappy ground textures beat that.
It does look a bit pants in some of the screens, but perhaps we'd need better quality and in-motion shots to see what it's like.
I agree with Darkflame on the sky issue, too out of place/tacked on in comparison to the fairly decent environment.
I think it looks great, not to mention these obviously aren't the visuals we saw in the videos. They looked a lot better than this. These are probably just a bit low quality.
Some of the shots look abit crap... but ive seen some clips and they looks preety good!! So its probably low quality shots!
doesn't look too shabby.. but still looks like Turok 1 which was released many years ago when Righteous 3D Pro and Voodoo were kings

Hmm I think it was more of a case of developers not being able to do textures that crisp. Some games managed amazing crispness such as Final Fantasy X.

Salt and Vinegar or Cheese and Onion?
They look quite goods. Videos of it look better thoughs - just crappy photos.
From what I've come to expect from the Wii this looks fine. Looks like an average Xbox game.
I hope thats just bad pictures, or those graphics look awful. I like motion sensing as much as the next person, but i also want to play a game that I'm not embarrased to show my Xbox 360 loving brother.
I really like the visual style of the game so far, I think its pretty safe to say that the resolution on the textures could not be pulled of by the PS2. Allthough its nowhere near the games that can be seen on the PS3 and the Xbox360, the Wii can still pull the visual style to its advantage, and games is more than a coat of paint so I don't really care if the Wii doesn't deliver HD graphics. What this game shows me visually is more than enough.
Agreed with Darkflame that the sky looks just not right in these photos. The textures are pretty decent, but nothing too great unfortunately. I'm hoping things do get better as development continues. I think the first two screens look very good, especially the first, but the last two are kind of poor.
