Wario World, you getting it?

Well, for a big Nintendo release I'd say it has gone pretty much unoticed. When you consider I didn't even know it was out until I went to take a look at nintendo.co.uk it really does show a problem, anyhoo, that is another matter entirely.

So, is anyone getting the game. It is quite like Luigi's Mansion, a title that I loved with a passion, and so I will probably give it a look in a week or two.

Yeah, that's what I said about it: it's kind of like Luigi's Mansion in that what is there is great, but:

1.) It's very short,
2.) If it was any longer it would definitely get boring.

Expect a review later this week!

It's a possibility ATM along with Skies Of Arcadia Legends and Hitman 2, but I'm waiting for impressions on it (hint!)

i may buy it when i get some money if i can find i cheap. I knew it was out, but only cos i looked for the info on the GB Player as i want one. But Nintendo really do need to spend a lot more money on advertising.

One of my friends has strongly warned me about it saying its far too short. Im going to skip this one and concentrate on F Zero!

its best to hear more about it and pick it up cheap later on. unless reviews tells me its rubbish.

thats my plan.

Its not going to get amazing reviews.

Gets tiring after a while.... Shame really for Wario's first next gen release

I got Wario World last Thursday with my GBA Player (yeah, yeah, a day early...) and its the GBA Player that currently has my attention.

On Wario World I just got to the Ice level, had a quick blast on it, and then kinda had to go out... haven't played it for a couple of days. It's fun, but it seems that there's not really that much to do in there.

Is Wario World as fun as the classic Wario plaformers on the GB, or is it just another average game with a name to cover up its faults. If it's any good, I may just be getting it.

Anyway, Wario World is good, IMO better than WarioLand 4, at least... but it's a very different game. It's very "treasure"

Sweet, I may just rent it when I can, but if it's a long game then I may consider buying it. On a side note, it's great to see at least one game coming out here before it did in the US!

Wario Land 4 on the GBA was a classic, right up there with Yoshi's Island in my opinion. Wario World on the other hand is simply just a decent game - nothing more, nothing less. I'm surprised that it was delayed so much, because nothing seems to have been added to it from its original build shown a long while back!

Wario Land - GB - classic, original platformer 100% fantastic

Wario Land 2 - GB - its amazing that they changed so much from the original, yet it STILL felt like wario and it was even better

Wario Land 3 - GBC - wario exept in colour with simply HUGE levels, one of the longest games ever

Wario Land 4 - GBA - all the best elements from the first three made as smooth and playable as the Mario World series on SNES

Wario World - GC - no idea, we've had no reviews/previews or anything; so lets hope it lives up to the game boy classics.

Well, Treasure hasn't done a bad job as such, it's just that they could have done so much more with it. The graphics are at times spectacular, but then again are rather weak in places, and the same goes for the gameplay as a whole. But the soundtrack and actual control mechanics are high-class, the latter being a very important factor...

I'm still mulling over what final mark to give it at the moment. I'll probably start the review sometime tonight...

I read yesterday that another game came out here before US. Forgot it though....

Oh and Android, the Cubed

There have been quite a few games lately that have come out over here before the US. It's purely because when games are released simultaneously, they aren't exactly on the simultaneous due to UK launch days being a Friday and them being a Monday in the US...So we tend to get games a couple of days early.

It happened with Wario Ware and Donkey Kong Country as well, for reference.
