Unfortunately, you're kind screwed on both games.

Kirby's Adventure is unavailable from almost everywhere now, and where it is available it is at least £44 as a used game. Even ebay has nothing good for it.

Epic Yarn is a similar story with it being rare now, but there are some used options available @ Amazon UK. You'd have to check individual seller's listings for shipping to Belgium and p+p charges and import tax. Some ask for a minimum spend, too, such as £25. It's kinda difficult to find a good one for you to import, Rudy. You'd just have to check each listing yourself and see what seems good for you. But they don't seem to be cheap, whichever way you look at it.

ebay UK results (buy it now) for Epic Yarn have a couple of friendlier options. £22 for one of them, free delivery in UK. Again, check the listing for Belgium delivery, and that adds on a good few quid more.

Sadly, the Kirby Wii games are buggers to find cheap. They're the type of games you'd just have to set up an ebay email alert with, in the hope you can grab one at a good price if it pops up in the future. That, or hope you spot one in a store randomly at a bargain.

Delivery to Belgium on ebay listings is usually quite cheap. 1 or 2 quids by Royal Mail, not above.

Since I have a credit card now but I can't link it to my Paypal account, I try to avoid ebay, because then I need to recharge my Paypal account with money manually from my bank account, and that usually takes a good 3 working days... not the ideal solution to jump on bargains when they do appear.

I check ebay regularly for both, and have already placed bids a couple times for both games, but to no avail so far.

Thanks anyway for the help Az'.

Why can't you link Paypal to your CC? Can't remember if you told me before.

Cuz' it's a prepaid Mastercard that I load with money whenever I want to buy anything with it (as in not directly linked to any bank account/no negative balance allowed). Paypal doesn't allow for that type of credit card to be linked to one of their accounts, it just throws an error when you try.

For the Kirby games, I think I might try to find a US copy if it's cheaper. I don't care too much about the region, since my Wii is homebrew enabled already Smilie.

Oh, I should have asked the other day:

Where could I buy Virtue's Last Reward (PAL, 3DS) for the cheapest price possible?

I know there have been quite a few bargain prices for it in the past (or so I seem to recall) but only now do I feel the urge to get a hold of it, now that I spent quite a lot of time with the first game already ^^.

Cheapest is Amazon UK, atm.

The lowest it's ever dropped to is £21. The Vita version is the one that stays lower priced.

But will keep an eye out on anything I come across in the future that's around £20 or less.

Mass Effect 3 PS3 & 360 £11.99

Epic Mickey 2 Wii £14 @amazon

House of the Dead Overkill PS3 £4.41 @zavvi ebay

GAME lists it at 19.99£ from last time they had it in stock, but never restocked ever since.

Thanks anyway!

I ended up buying a regular 16GB SD Card for my 3DS, it was way cheaper than I expected Smilie how did those things get so cheap over the years without me noticing??

Now if only Vita memory cards were that cheap! I really want a 16GB one but damn they're all ridiculously overpriced. Sort it out Sony!

I did the exact same thing the day before (the stock 2GB one that came with it was starting to be a bit too narrow for all the content I have on the system)

It's £2.72 now!

Anyone who hasn't got this game is seriously missing out! For £2.72 it is amazingly cheap, its worth getting! Trust me!

Also regarding the Kirby games i was able to pick up Kirby's Adventure from GAME brand new for £20, however GAME/Gamestation do something which is quite weird and that is move some of their brand new stock and list it as 'preowned' when they stop ordering it in new. In other words, they stopped selling Kirby Adventure brand new and decided to only stock it pre-owned and strangely make all their current 'new' stock as preowned.....either way i got pretty lucky.

Epic Yarn is only £15 at CEX so i might just have to deal with that, unfortunately they only deliver to the UK...

Damn, sorry to say, Rudy, but GAME got a batch of Virtue's Last Reward in and selling for £15.99. The amount of times these things happen :/

Big Brain Academy DS £4 @ASDA

Virtua Tennis 4 Vita £6.97 @amazon

New Art Academy 3DS £14.99 @amazon

Also reading reports of Blockbuster doing half price on consoles. Not sure if pre-owned - maybe. £70 on 3DS consoles. Worth popping into your local and having a browse.

Oh, and Lumines Electric Symphony free on Vita for PS+ members. Racking this Vita collection up real big now!

Oh well, no matter. Next time, if I wait to long, then there won't be any left... You can never know what will happen next. I didn't think the game was in such a high demand that they would restock so long after release.

As usual, over the coming weeks you can also expect exclusive PS Plus discounts on lots of other products, including discounts on Dead or Alive 5 and Big Sky Infinity 5 DLC. From 27th February we also have a 40% discount on the brilliant Far Cry 3 courtesy of our friends at Ubisoft, and we'll also be offering you the Dust 514 Starter Pack DLC for free for two weeks! We'll update you on these offers and more in the weekly Store posts.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Also found some fantastic pre-owned lists for PS3 and 360 from Play/Zoverstocks. Mostly old games, but still plenty that are worth picking up at the price. Check the spoiler below.
Edit: Noticing some games have changed prices/sold out etc. Can't be helped.
Hasn't been too many mega bargains that have caught my eye lately - at least not ones I think many people here would be bothered about. Don't wanna spam the thread with every single offer I find. But again, if there's any particular games or consoles or genres people are after, I'll make sure to keep an eye out to post here. Will continue to post what I think are very good and appealing ones, though.
First, a reminder that 1-year EU PS+ can be gotten for £30 from a few places right now, including GAME, and there really isn't a better time to join. If you join right now you can still grab Sleeping Dogs, Vanquish, Limbo, Wipeout 2048 Vita and Lumines Vita, plus then get Mass Effect 3, DOA5, Joe Danger 2, MGS HD Collection Vita and Puddle Vita on Wednesday, and God of War 1 HD is still up for about another week. This period right now is possibly the best I've ever seen on Plus, and you'll have more than made your money back in an instant. 11 games ranging from at least good to bloody awesome for £30, and that's within two days of your 365 day sub. Speaks for itself.
Don't forget, you only need to 'purchase' (you check them out in your basket but obviously they're free) them (and not necessarily download) to add them to your collection, and they can still be redownloaded in the future even if your Plus subscription ends and you rejoin again in the future. Even once a game leaves the Instant Game Collection on the PS Store, so long as you either 'bought' or downloaded it whilst on Plus, you can download it again at any time, even if it isn't on Plus or the Store any more. A lot of people don't know this, and it instantly makes them realise just how good Plus is. You can simply 'buy' every single game that hits Plus and then download and play them at any point down the line.
I really feel it's worth sharing this info to emphasise further how good it is.
Anyway, some games:
Batman Wii U £16.99 @ DVD.co.uk
Ico & Shadow of the Colossus PS3 US region-free +$19/+£12 (not inc. shipping) @ Play-Asia
Just Cause 2 Steam £2.80 with code GMG20-P4DLK-FKYRS
Borderlands 2 £10 pre-owned with code 5MARKET - 360 / PS3
Xbox Marketplace deals:
Max Payne 3 £4.49
SSFIV Arcade Edition £4.49
King of Fighters XIII £4.49
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe £4.49
Has anyone used this site to buy anything at all? I've seen something on there that i'd like to purchase....but doesn't look all to reliable...?
http://vpgames.co.uk/
EDIT: I think i may have answered my own question...looks a bit dodge when I look at the shipping/returns page!
( Edited 30.10.2017 06:19 by Guest )
Stay away.
First thing that caught my eye was £24 PS3 controllers. Nowhere sells them that cheap unless they're fakes.
Yep, bad English, shipping from Hong Kong (aka the land of pirate games). Steer clear.
Really looking for Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon on the DS but seems like its impossible to get for a reasonable price!
( Edited 30.10.2017 06:19 by Guest )
Yeah, can't find anything below the £36 mark @ Amazon. Not selling anywhere. Nothing on CEX and only imports on ebay.
( Edited 30.10.2017 06:19 by Guest )
I don't mind having US games, but yea it is quite annoying to find Smilie Its the only one (of the EU releases) that i am missing.
Well for now anyway Smilie
Wasn't aware that Shadow Dragon was such a rare one to find. Don't recall it performing really well at retail, mind you, so I guess it never got a second print run (and would explain why the superior sequel was never released outside Japan).
To be fair almost all of the western released Fire Emblems hold good value. Just looking at what some of these fetch is quite impressive!
Our member of the week
Glad I picked all of them when I did then Smilie. (Plus some Japanese ones)
