For all of Nintendo's consoles yes, but I think we might be a bit hazy on the MegaDrive for some reason. Apparently there's something weird in the description of Sonic on the VC that suggests you have to use a classic controller.

I always thought it was a psychological thing-theres no legislation demanding that shops dont charge whole numbers, people are just better predisposed to buy something thats
