I'm not particuarly suprised. The Wii looks like Nintendo's last roll of the dice after the lackluster sales of GC. And unlike the GC, the difference is marketing.
They have marketed it perfectly.
If it rises to expectation, the Wii has the potential to restore Nintendo to a respected brand, as opposed to one that is "For Childern".
Here's hoping.
