He's just making it up... some people (Like IGN) seem to think that rumour = fact

Anywhoo..... yeah, it seems that the real blame turns to Capcom, I really think they should be clever enough to see that Clover + Nintendo = Great 2nd party combination. To be honest, Clover should be a 2nd party to Nintendo I don't think many PS2 fans would be disappointed!

The develper said that the PS3 high price point could hinder the sales of Devil May Cry 4 and said there will be most likely version for both rival consoles (ie 360 & Wii), however CAPCOM seemed to have refirmed that it is an exclusive title bit like the REWii saga it was being made thne it was't now it is. Have a little faith people, it s true that Capcom may see the PS3 as the main platform that it will produce games for but there has been a lot of talk in the japanese prees about new versions of NES capcom classics being produced for Wii and also ABSOLUTE exclusives one being the rumoured George Romero title.
Remember production cost for the PS3 are going to be huge in comparison to that of the Wii, also you can be sure a company like Capcom will take full advantage of the Wii interfacea and will eventually produce a type of game RE or of the sort that will be simply unatainable by the other two companies. but only when the water has been tested( a top title on each platform). LS

You rely on japanese friends too much...

they khow there games man, and Megaman is sure thing apparently there was a huge outcry when one of the Capcom team said it would be unlikely that a new platform based megaman would released, in turn, Capcom japan recieved loads of complaints from fans disgruntled by the statement in the interview, so Capcom retorted what was said by the team member in SFweeky 2 weeks late.
Megaman,alongside streetfighter and ghouls and ghosts are seen as the founding games of Capcom company, the games that have given them the platform to produce stuff like RE S
