This game keeps getting better and better.
Is anybody else a wee bit concerned about the stylus control? With both this and Phantom Hourglass, it kinda looks like Nintendo are trying to shoehorn classic gameplay into a touch-friendly package. I mean, far be it from me to tell them what to do, but I'm just not too keen on dragging my characters round the screen with the stylus. They're gonna have to take me by the hand and lead me through the Dark Woods on this one
I quite like the stylus route planing idea, a nice addition for rail-shooting.
The route planning's a great idea, I'm talking about controlling the ship via the stylus.

Same, it's a nice addition and should make for some interesting replay factors in levels.
Wolf couldn't possibly look more shit...
As my rant in the other thread was good enough, I won't continue with the same note. Although I will say that a prequel with James McCloud is well overdue and if it were to happen, we would have a nice break from the crapness of the new Star Wolf.
This is looking better and better. It kinda reminds me of a mix of Lylat Wars and StarFox 2. That's no bad thing, Lylat Wars was one of the best games on the N64 for me. Using the stylus for deciding the route should give a little more depth than simply pressing "Next Course".
Edit: I like the Starwing reference
Will Peppy finally put Krystal in her place? I hope so!

Another title I cant wait to play, and I cant wait to go on Nintendo WI FI connection with it come on Online Dogfights.
Confermationjust incase you want confermation, theres tons of other cool stuff on there too.
Well, I can't see Krystal here...
from what it looks like, this is set after Assault, whioch is well & good for me, Panther is there, so I'm fine with that. I like all StarFox games (except for Adventures which is still alright)
It looks like they've chucked tons more characters in... &... is that GENERAL PEPPER?!?!
Also, could Peppy possibly have come out of retirement? Somehow, he looks a lot younger, unless that's an in game picture of "the old days" ...?
The developer, Q Games, is headed up by one of the original Starfox team. And from the footage at E3 this looks damn amazing!

The Explosions looks pretty lame, couldn't thety just make them more like Lylat Wars? 'Cos they look cheap.
Where the hell did I hear that either Namco or Rare were working on this? It's about time Nintendo took ahold & brought justice to a weaker franchise! (Although I REALLY DID like Starfox Assault )
Q-Games wikipedia page is quite interesting:

Turns out they also make tech demos and games for Sony.
Seperately, it's also interesting to note that Lylat wars was the only internaly developed Starfox game.

Was Starwing made by Argonaut?
Slippy has a girlfriend? oh dear >_>

Fan-freakin-tastic. I've always loved the Starfox games, and yes, I thought Adventures and Assault were amazing. This game is looking awesome as well. I'm really looking forward to using the touch screen for control. Being able to plot your course and plan your attacks sound really intriguing and should add a deeper element to the series. Awesome.
It looks like Peppy has been promoted to General and relaced Pepper. Slippy's hilarious. Looks like he's finally gonna "get some".

Yeah, it does look like a cross between Lylat Wars and Starfox 2. I think there will be a choice of controls, totally touch orientated or traditional style. All of the areas and planets look the same; Fortuna, Katina, Macbeth, Sector X, Y and Z were all ones that I thought I could see.
And there isn't anything worng with the new Star Wolf!!
I just hope that the credits are as good as they were in Lylat Wars. Just listen to the music and watch as Star Fox run alongside the Great Fox, onto their next mission and Fox has to just forget what he had just saw.
Credits are never that good anymore, unfortunately
Should they be? I've never played through a game just to see the credits.
