Indeed, although headsets don't exactly make you look cool.

Why cant it be like the DS??How can it be like the DS? The Mic would have to be on the controller if it wasnt on a headset, and since youre waving the controller about, youd have to stop aiming or whatever everytime you speak (which would ruin the game). On the DS you are holding the thing still, and not too far from your mouth, and besides, on the DS the only game with voice uses it only in lobbies. You have to be able to communicate with your team on team games. Thats why everytime you get matched with a load of morons with no headset on Halo 2, you usualy loose because they cant tell you where the other team is or whether there is somone stalking you with a plasma sword.( Edited on 09.06.2006 10:43 by Rii1bmvrg.d2t3 )
You forget about them after a while. Every time I use my Xbox I wear my headset, even when I won't use it, because it feels wrong without it.
Man, I sure hope that Game Informer is right. Oh, and there has been more than one source that has hinted at a PPU, so that one sounds fairly realistic (one of them being ATI).
I heard somewhere they were going to put a tin opener in it...
I don't see how Nintendo can squeeze all this sheeznit into Wii and keep the price down, let alone retain the system's tiny dimensions. Of course it'd be absolutely sexy if they could, and I have no doubt that all these functions will appear sooner or later as peripherals. But people are being a tad optimistic if they think this stuff is all going to fit in for a wallet-friendly

I hate to sound rude but, seriously wake the fuck up. Do you not wear headphones? It's barely different. You don't really feel them on your head. A mic and speaker away from you is no compromise to a headset.
The wii needs a headset. If it doesn't im going to be SEVERELY disappointed. Whatever happens though, XBox live is THE online service. I doubt WFC onw ii will be a patch on it.
Could you please translate the following phrase into English?
"...putting fears of a poor online system somewhat to fear."

Indeed it does, I am STILL waiting for Nintendo to release a head set for the DS!
