Seriously people... Just buy some rechargeable AAs! It's not that difficult!

Although I agree, it will be annoying to have to take out the AA's when they run out of juice and plug them into a charger, especially if you don't have any spare batteries on hand at the time.

That's why Nintendo need to do what pretty much every CD-player manufacturer did (All the good ones anyway) and put a recharge option in for people who ARE using rechargeable batteries... I don't see why it couldn't fit into the expansion port on the bottom... That was all you have to do is put your controller on to charge every night/every few nights, and it'll never run dry. Unless they DIE on you whilst youre trying to kill Salazar on RE4!!! ... Yeah I hate Wavebirds >_>

Still a proud member of the 'omfg amazing water in games' society

As long as an optional recharge paks are aviliable like what MS have done with the 360 wirles pad then i'm all good.

Exactly.Smilie

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

I wonder why they have to run on freaking batteries...

Well i guess rechargable batteries are the way to go, would be nicer if it had an in-built battery and there was a stand that you could just pop the controller in. It's a sleek controller and I'd want to display itSmilie

I actually like the idea of having AA batteries, at least along with normal rechargeables. Imagine that you're at a friend's house, there's no time to charge up batteries, just pop in some AAs and you're good to go. you get the best of both worlds.

Even better would be having the wii come with rechargeable batteries, not as an option.

Well, I would prefer it having a recharable battery built right into it, but I'm all set for it if they just use two AA recharable batteries. I have a 30 minute recharable battery station and will be getting a second one soon. So I'm good.
