From nintendo I am assuming

1)Mario 128 if they were not bullshitting about it
2)Proabably SSBR as it has a large team and was in devlopment the longest
3)Zelda TP, it will be counted as a revo game.
4) Wario Ware probably
3 new casual games like what the DS did with nitendogs etc.

There'll probably be a load of boring rubbish like fly-swatting games, as well as a nice handfull of proper games.

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

Smash Brothers will most probably not be a launch title.
They've only assigned a director to it late last year who said they were just starting the development of it.

Now, I just wonder what the new Tokyo team behind Jungle Beat is up to. Smilie

And why is everyone pleading for a Kid Icarus sequel? Was it really such a Great game? It didn't sell very well, that's for sure, but I guess that's not a valid point.

Most of my childhood memories were with Metroid NES and Kid Icarus, It took me forever to beat the games, great ideas, if they can do what they did to Metroid to Kid icarus, Pit will be just as well known Samus!
And how cool were the eggplant wizards! lol

Ps: A revo Bow & arrow would be kind of cool.

I agree, a Kid Icarus update with a much darker tone could propel it up to the AAA Nintendo franchise. Such an innovative game and such a great subject to make games on, shocked there hasn't been an update yet.

Should we consider the possibility of an Opera package being sold? Its counted as software on the DS and having full internet functionality on the Rev would give it a small boost over the rival platforms.

I agree, it'd certainly work well and offer something genuinly unique.

I'd rather have Opera downloaded to memory via the net or off a disc, rather than having to put a disc in every time. It would make much more sense, maybe that's how it will work...

never played Kid Icarus... also Samus isn't that well known at all.

i dont see why people are knocking out lists of Nintendos greatest games for the release..?

mario & zelda & metroid and smashbros? i think not, then what are they going to do, think about it if they release all there good games first after a few months there will be nothing new going for it.

they will probably release one killer ap, then stretch the others out over a few years, creating release dayes, then pushing them back a few months. that way the nintendo loyal, will be in constant anticipation.

most probably.

Because it's what people WANT at launch, so they think it's possible. Regardless, Nintendo will need at least 1 killer game at launch, unlike with the Cube!

Well, we know that MP3 and SSB are in development, and LoZ:TP can also count because of it's 'bonus Revo related fearures'. And then there's the Mario 128 saga that's been going on for far too long.

I'm thinking maybe Metroid will be a launch title, along with either a new franchise and/or some kind of mini game collection (eg Wario Ware or Mario Party). They could show off a Mario game at E3 as well which will be ready for launch, but I'm not so sure.

Then something like SSB within 6 months of launch, and games like Pikmin 3 and Mario out within a year. They'll probably wait a while for a proper Zelda game designed for the Revolution.

Doubt we'll see a fly swatting type games being sold as one off pakages, wario ware will probably get all that considering there was a flyswating game in the DS version..

Possibly see Metroid Prime 3 i mean they started on that way back didn't they and they even had the MP2 tech demo using the controller.

There probably will be some sorta non gamer type game there aswell, possibly being the new Miyamoto IP.

what im saying is, it would be stupid to release these games all at once. sure release metroid or smash bros, then gently leak the franchise games out of the first year or so.*

i think that Nintendo have shot themselves in the foot when it comes to Zelda, seeing as we should have been enjoying it on our cubes 6 months ago, and now they have pushed it back by nearly a year to coincide with the release of the Rev. it would of been an amazing cube game, and hopefully still will be, but i feel like they are trying to turn it into an amazing rev title aswell somehow, or atleast make the public beleive that.

i just have fears that it will be a half arsed attempt at a revo title, thus tainting the overall quality of the title.

like you wont be able to do certain things on the cube version, (spoiling the game), but when you play it on the Rev, its not as great as you imagined it to be. (spoiling the game even more)

* lets not forget, there is a massive libary of games to download, which is basically why i am getting the console in the first place. the chance to play games i havent played in years, and also games i never got the chance to play is incredible. this will keep me happy for years. Smilie

Star GIVE!

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

Buddah is absolutely right, i think most of nintendo's launch software will actually be new IPs, i expect to see a lot of new IPs from nintendo when its time for the revolution as the revolution should make games totally different in most senses which would make a few current IPs feel a bit strange.

-Have you any idea what it's like to be a Fembot living in a Manbot's Manputer's world?
-What?

OMG maybe waverace RS could be on the list!!!! cool

Didnt i say that..Smilie

Buddah is absolutely right, Nintendo like to stretch their games out. Look at the DS, Mario Kart in Nov, Animal Crossing in March, Metroid In May, New Super Mario Bros in July Etc etc. I think the same thing would happen with the revo but also i dont want it to. I think A killer line up would be Mario,Zelda, Metroid. Perhaps push Smash Bros back a bit. Still if Nintendo give us all that then what do we wait for......

Also does anyone else remeber seeing DK racing video for the Gamecube. I think it was being developed by Rare but the project obviously dropped

Donkey Kong Racing

Maybe it could be revived for the Revo under Namco's helm

Well it all depends on the actual launch date of the console because this is Nintendo we are talking about. If its released during the Summer then we'll see one killer app and a few cheapy but good titles. If its released for Christmas expect every single game Nintendo are working on, finished or not.

oh, also, I have been saying since long before we seen the revolution controller "Donkey Kongductor" would be a early game.

That name, and what it might entail for a game, is frigging ace.

I totally forgot about Penchant Chase Baseball - I definitely see that as a launch title, being resurrected.

WOOOOOOOO!! but this means that i really need to get myself a summer job. coz i'll need at least 4 games with my REVO. Smilie

My poor, poor bank balance Smilie

Edit.

Oh my, how awesome that would be. Have a star Smilie

basically all of them are sequels.

Number 17!! Look at number 17!! Yeh baby, NEW Nintendo IP. That proves that Nintendo are innovative AND original Smilie.

The problem is that with people's suggestions, they can only really suggest sequels, as they have no idea what a new game could be. (Donkey Kongductor sounds good fun though! Maybe Nintendo will go crazy and forget to add DK to the game though Smilie. Damn, why do people buy games just because of the franchise name!? It just encourages sequels!)
