Just found this pic, taken at this year's GDC... Small enough to fit in your pocket? Smilie Well, maybe not pocket-sized, but I really never expected it to be that small! Smilie

Bad perspective.

Loads more pics at IGN btw. 4 pages of them...

Like knighty says, the perspective makes the Revolution look a lot smaller then it will end up being. (Though it will still be significantly smaller then the X-360 or the PS3!)

And if the DS can barely fit in the average pocket then what hope does the Revolution have? Smilie

It'll fit in your pocket if you have a big enough pocket.

DS is certainly portable put it that way Smilie

Now I just need my tv box so i can bring it into school...=3

Thanks knighty Smilie Here's a better perspective shot from IGN... still smaller than I expected!

It's the same one as at TGS, according to IGN, but not the final thing.

Two thins are clear from our closer look at the hardware - it's small and it's gorgeous. It really is an amazingly tiny unit, and Nintendo reps patrolling the area continuously noted that it was still the TGS demo hardware, not the final version. Interestingly enough, one of the reps made note that a few changes have been made to the controller. While he didn't comment if those changes would be seen in tomorrow's keynote, we can only assume the most up-to-date version would be used in such an event. Please note that these changes are very minor, most likely dealing with the nunchuck port or other simple finishing touches.

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

its supposed to be similar in size to a dvd case no?

Isn't it supposed to be 3 DVD cases thick?

Ps2 Slimline overheats

No it don't. I clearly remember playing mine straight for an entire day, with no problems.

P.S. You look very sexy, Revo Smilie

There was a product recall on a lot of PS2 Slimlines 'coz the plug adapter would overheat. I think it was the ones produced from Sept 2004-Dec 2004

So you are both right, 'coz they fixed the problem

It's definitely around the '3 DVD cases thick' mark. Compare the shots of the USB ports and how many you could put across its width, it's 3 DVD cases. The thing's frigging tiny.

It is indeed a very nice size, and beautiful, and allegedly low power consuming and quiet. Unlike a 360 which uses as much power as was full pelt washing machine and sounds like a fucking PC!

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

1. The slimline power adaptor was the cause of overheating. They were recalled.

2. PSTwo appeared 4 years after the original was made. In 2010 Nintendo could do the same!

3. Its so stylish compared to the not bad 360 and Ken Kutaragis Lean Mean Non-Specced Gaming Machine.
