I contacted Cing, the developer of Another Code on the Nintendo DS about doing an interview a couple of weeks ago. They replied back saying my comments on their game made them extremely happy, but currently they cannot talk about their projects basically because Nintendo has put the 'hushers'(TM) on them. It seems another 'Another' is coming. It can't be classed as official confirmation, but it CAN be posted as a speculative forum post.

Now, will it be a DS sequel to capitalise on the following of the first game or a Revolution title to use the Rev controller? Hmm...

That would be great, a Rev game would be best, it needs a strong lineup to make it a success whilst the DS is already established.

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

You'd like to think DS. Another Code showed lovely visuals and tried to bring point and click (or tap in this case) back into the main stream. I'd like to see a sequal with complete new characters, so everything is un-familiar from the old game! Its good new either way. Smilie

I'd also like to see the sequel arrive on the DS, even if to simply encourage other developers to bring Point-and-Click games to the DS.

I'm still holding out for Revolution Software to announce what platforms will see Broken Sword 4. If you recall, BS3 WAS due to come to the GameCube before being canned by the publisher. Same for BS2's port to the GBA, again ditched by the publisher despite a sell out of all BS1 GBA stock.

So there's a strong chance it could make a DS appearance, or even Rev appearance if it's delayed long enough!!

I'd love to see a sequel, thining about playing through ANother code again. The sequel just needs to be a bit longer and it will be great!

I thought it was actually confirmed a while back (after the original's release) that a sequel was being made already (for DS). Apparently not...

EDIT: Clarified platform.

From Answers.com:

Cing, the company that developed Trace Memory did mention that it would consider developing a sequel, if the sales of Trace Memory did well. Online, in various forums and discussion groups, the sequel goes under the code name "Another Code: Future"

Something also said a while back that Cing were developing another game of a similar genre, but didn't say if it was related to Another Code...

If it will be longer im getting it.
