Nah i hate the name revolution, it's ok as a code name but as the finished name it's not catchy and a bit long.

Well i wouldn't mind if they kept Nintendo Revolution, N5 dosen't sound that bad or maybe they should call it, Nintendo Nexus, just because it sounds cool.

N5 is yucky.

I don't like names with just characters like that. DS is okay because it stands for something strong. PS is okay because it was a abbreviation used on the internet. But N5 just sounds boring and too standard. Niether of those words actualy describe what I feel about it, but I can't find the word I need.

I hate Revo as an official name. I refer to it as 'the Revo' all the time as a shortened, affectionate term to my friends, but I'd much rather it was called Revolution and they stick to it.

I still stick with Revo, it....just sounds short snappy and good. It even stands for revolution.

As this hasn't really been brought up before in this thread i'll say it.

If you look at the new pictures of the Rev >here< You will see that the "Revolution" tag has been removed in favor for the Nintendo logo.

I don't really care what they call it as long as they don't keep that ridiculous Rev logo they had on the E3 models.

That's why I posted really Ark, cheers for pointing that out. All traces have been removed, which leads me to believe that they're still considering the name. I really hope they stick with 'Revolution'.

Yes, but it sounds catchy, doesn't it? Plus, Nintendo didn't called their consoles N1, N2 etc. I'll admit that 'Nintendo 5' sounds crappy like Nintendo are trying to be 'cool', but N5 sounds pretty good if you ask me.

They could leave it un-named but with the Nintendo Logo printed on it.

And use the Nintendo Logo as it's marketing scheme. Would confuse many people as to what this kick ass console is.
