First off this is a direct continuation from Mason's thread >> here << but due to the good and technical discussion going on I thought I'd make a new one.
Adding to that the sound bit I'll post in a second is a direct continuation for 2 mins from Mason's video.

Reggie talks of how the Revolution is easily comparible to the competition, after showing the Metroid vid we saw yesterday, he also tells of how much easier, quicker and cheaper development be compared to PS3/360, and most interestingly he talks of IP at the end.
Nintendo plan to have new IP in the "launch window" of the Rev, and the way he mentions it the IP sounds comparible to the existing greats. Is this the new IP from Miyamoto, that would make a good start.
And right at the death he confirms (the news I've been waiting for) that Revolution games are in development as we speak, awesome. This is really looking good for an early 2006 launch, with the easy/quick development - added to Nintendo not wanting to miss the boat.
SSBM:R, MP3, new IP (maybe even Miyamoto's) and multiformat games - this is looking like the strongest Nintendo launch window in history!
