I dont think they need to make a new console... Somewhere on another thread a new Sega site was mentioned. Basicaly, you can download most of their games to your computer and play them.

And this website can you show us the post you saw it in please for verifynation cos i truely doubt sega would do that without charging (they wouldn't do it at all)

If its not an official site (and has no permission by sega) then its some kid ripping sega off and should be told to sega so they can sue or close down that site.

I do agree with it that sega don't need to release another consoel though but i reckon they should

Just found this. It's in the middle of an article about developers talking about the 3 next generation consoles:

Perhaps we will see SEGA downloads, but to the Revolution (thought it was slightly relevent).

its ok but you can tell because it has other games you have to pay for like tetris.

Which was made by atari or whoever it was i can't remember now..(there was a massive fight over who created the gmae you see)

But in your own way it could be like you said a sega site as in sega asking for permission from other companies for old games and stuff by giving them a cut of the profits but.....

I think that is unlikly but you never know unless you can contact sega and ask them.....

other stuff::

If you look at that controller whats the main things its reminds you of?
To me it looks like the dreamcasts controller remade.
If you think about it more it looks like the N64 controller without the middle stick....

six buttons not even the dreamcast did that nor did any other console apart form the old megadrive with the controllers they released later on.....

Then he seems to have copied the xbox style here by adding a joystick on here at the bottom just switch the sides and poof! you have it where it is now instead of opposite of it where the xboxes one is.

And last but not least it have a D-pad thats a different colour but looks like the xbox's in my oppinion if you remove the stuff around it.

To me this controller totally fake also it is most likley it would be wireless now!

Here this console looks like one i saw in the paper ages ago i think called phantom i can't remember but this looks like they ahve jsut changed the colour to grey and just put a sticker on it....
