You can move them! I think, if memory serves me right, one of them has to be moved from the side or something - it's really quite easy, just look for the obvious and you'll get past.

you push one of them up... lol...
i got there recently and had trouble moving them! so i saved it and when i went back the top one moved!
oh well i saved it just outside the elders house.
i just got the bow!
btw, i wouldnt really call it a spoiler. you are all of 5mins into the game!!
i had the same problem as well.
NEW PROBLEM...
Ive just got the ice wand thingy but i dont know where to go now, sposed to lk for the sages or someing but i cnt find them
just to let you know that i am at the boss where i get the first pendant i think. in east palace. Am i right?
I only got the game and would be disappointed to find out that i am quite far into it.
Far from it... without breaking any spoilers, think of being at Ghoma in OOT, and maybe a little bit back from that - this is how ALTTP is, a brilliant game and could be one of the hardest/longest Zelda titles to date.
I never played OOT so i dont know how big you are actually trying to say it is.
oh well ill just have to find out for myself!
I played Oracle of Ages on the GBA and loved it, so if Link to the Past is anything like that Ill like it!
Another update on the game, I am at Blind The Thief in the dark world now.
I'm stuck at the 1st darkworld dungeon XD.
Aha, find the hammer you must. :lvg:

You're bound to be far past it now, but Ghoma is the very first boss in OOT, if that's a help.

Where do you find the hammer? I don't see anything that I'd use it on either.
Those stumps that block your way to certain areas in darkworld.
its the add on to link to the past, its multiplayer and snes style
Digressing slightly but how does one beat Ganon in the final battle? A complete guide to the battle would be mcuh appreciated.

Your wish is our command.
*Spoilers*
1) Dodge boomerang-type attack. Concentrate on mashing him with your golden sword. He will then chuck his trident at you and teleport to another area of the room.
2) Continue to pummel your man. After 6 hits, Ganon will use magic. With the swarm of fireballs, stay back. When the ring of fireballs expands, run in close at him and slash away. Try and have healing items with you so that your taking of damage won't be fatal. Another of his spells is fireballs which turn to fire bats. Again, the best form of defence is attack so get in and hit Ganon. His final attack is his jump - it makes the ceiling collapse. Again, get in close and mash him.
3) After about 20 hits, Ganon will congratulate you and dim the lights. He then becomes invisible and hurls fire bats at you. Use the fire rod to light both torches in the southern corner - this will make Ganon visible and vulnerable.Stun him with your sword when he is visible and he will turn blue, then hit him with your bow and silver arrows. This works even if the torhes go out when he is stunned. Four repeats and he's history.
Care: If you fall off the edge of the floor, the fight begins from the start.
You're more likely to fall off then you're to getting killed.
I've beat the game now. I hadn't gotten the golden sword or silver arrow when I got to Ganon at first though... too bad I forgot about this thread...
