Advance Wars DS

Just to let you know you can now pre-order Advance Wars DS (also called DS Wars) from here: Play Asia

It's the Japanese version but the game is in Engilsh! Release date: 23 June.

Mercutio, where does it say the Jap version will have English text? If it does I'll import it, but I can't see it saying that anywhere.

Also people who don't import simply because they don't like the idea of it are retards. The DS is region free so you might aswell take advatage! You really want to wait until October or something for the US or UK version? Importing rules.

But.... what about all that button clicking? Couldn't that be bad for your fingers... and lets not even mention unwrapping the package!

If you get it from Japan then it's all in Japanese!
It's harder to get a refund if it doesn't work.
You get to look around more once it's officially released, which ultimately leads to cheaper prices.
You need a credit/debit card to import, while basically anyone can walk into a shop and buy the product.

If anything can promote the DS, it is definately Advance Wars.

So you can either import a game early from Japan or the US (if you want to make sure it has English text/audio you can easily find out), months before the UK release, and it normally works out cheaper (exchange rates). So what's the disadvantage? Sure you can't really return it, that's why I only import "must have" games and Ltd ed stuff. Its good, and there are lots of reliable import sites now, and of course eBay.

Yea this is what will sell tons of DS Because Advance wars is cracking all my mates loved it so yea this will send the DS sales above PSP i personally think

True. Advance wars will likely be the first (or second, depending on your opinion of SM64DS) killer app for the DS.

I have really enjoyed Mario 64 DS its great but it will be advance wars then mario kart DS if it goes online which it should then mario 64 or Metroid prime hunters not the demo verision the real one

Well, the way I see it, Mario 64DS is a GREAT game, but I'd consider it just under the killer app line.

i recon Rare should remake Blast corps for DS that was well cool and i think it was gremailn how made body harvest they should rerelease body harvest that was also well cool and Maxis should bring out a simcity game

That would be really great, I'm sure Rare would bring out ports to there more populare DS games, if they weren't restricted my Microsoft that is.

There is still hope though.
