Now before I begin with the review, i'd like to say this is my frist time doing one, so tell me where i go wrong and other things.

Anyway, this reviews score will be cast upon 4 different topics. Graphics, Sound, Gameplay and the Length.

First off the Graphics, Kirbys air ride isn't as Visually stunning as some Playstation 2 games, but in all i'd say they were good enough for the style of game. By that i mean a kirby game probably wouldn't suit the ultra-realistic graphics of games such as Halo. it suits the more Cartoony Graphics such as Windwakers Cel shaded style.

As of all Kirby games, the sound can sometimes be a really nice and fitting background whereas other levels have music that makes you want to turn it to mute. However with stages such as Frozen hillside and Checkerknights, you feel like the music fits as you race across the track.

Now we get to the most important part the gameplay, now this game offers something unique that no racing game has offered as far as i'm aware. Now you don't hold A to go forward like in Mario Kart, infact you move on your own, using A to stop your Vechile. Now on the Topic of Vechiles there are quite a Few, all with Unique differences, for example the Wing star has a better glide rate than any other star, whereas the Slick star, has worse gliding but a slippier turn on the ground.

There are many modes, Normal Air Races, Top Down Races and City Trial. Top down races are more like a Micro machines sort of race. City Trial is alot different to both these modes, you get a set amount of time to collect power ups, increasing Weight, health and other stats of your vechile. Then you can also Get off your Vechile and get on the Random Vechiles that appear in the City. once your times up you'll be put into a race, or Specific Mini game, like Drag Racing or Long Jump. however the city isn't all it seems, Random events happen. An example of this being DynaBlade can Randomly fly in and attack the city, or giant Meteors can rain down on the city damaging you and the other players.

Finally we come to the length, if you can be bothered to go through and fill in all the check boxes, then you'll have a very very long time to play, but if your just a casual player, this may last you a few days of play before you'll want to play something else.

Overall this is a game thats very fun to play, however i'm sure with a bigger city, and online play this game could be improved quite alot.
