SoulCalibur II (GameCube) Reader Review

Posted by By dojo 0 Number of reads 1067 Posted 12.02.2007

This is a good game for people with lots of skill and patience. I borrowed it a few times from a mate before buying it and although I don't regret it, I sometimes wonder why I did.

The graphics are superb for the GC, the gameplay is arguably better than the newest Soul Calibur III(the GC pad just feels right for this game, unlike the PS2 pad). Difficulty levels vary, and can range from really very irritating to really...really very irritating.

No, my main quiff with this game is that the easiest setting are so easy and the harder setting are SO hard. There isn't really a fair learning curve. Altogether though this is a blast in multiplayer and a great one to start of a gaming session.
