Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean (GameCube) Reader Review

I wrote my review a while ago and it got baleeted... gar...

Backgrounds detailed, but they are still pictures like RE games 0-3. Lots of composed music and sound effects do their job. Voice quality, well, Xelha reminds me of GO YAFFA commercial. Look it up and see if you like that voice or not.

The plot does seem unique because it's about a guy with a broken wing, but I haven't gone far into it so I'll leave it at average. There is supposedly a HUGE twist in the middle of the game... If only I could get myself to play.

Gameplay revolves around touching wandering enemy in field, going to battle area, choosing some cards watching. Honestly, I just chose the cards that I had and that doesn't take much thought. There probably is depth to this game like deck building, but I felt like this sword was just that sword.

I guess the graphics are impressive, music is great, I didn't get to see the entire plot, but I found the gameplay repetitive because it is dependent on your stats, not whether you outsmarted or outpaced your enemy.

Again, my scores reflect how I look at games. I either love, accept or hate them. With that understanding, you'll see why I gave the scores I did.
