Nintendo Wii Media | New Smash Bros. Brawl Videos

It's Smash Bros. fever today with some swanky new videos of the game in action, including snippets of the Metal Gear stage, Wario's wacky level, and a plethora of final smashes from familiar faces.

I love the Sonic ownage at the start of the second vid Smilie he looks like a good fun character to use, and he's really fast! I can't wait to try him out when this comes out in 5 months! Smilie

Orgasmic! I swear it is finished lol Smilie 3rd video is probably the best, it's packed full of...everything!

Only thing I'm hoping for now is "build a character" using preset character types.

Anyone noticed Cel-Shaded link as a trophy, does that mean he won't be a playable character?

That's what I thought at first, but he's in his casual wear, he may be in his proper tunic as a playable character.

EDIT: Chibi-Robo is a trophy though Smilie I wanted him playable.

That's a point, but character trophies are usually based on their Smash in-game models (for the Adventure/AllStars ones that is). I do find it unlikely that they'd show an unveiled playable character trophy in an advert though.

Wow jb that is the one thing I did not think of that this game seems to not have so far! How awesome would a create a character mode be? That would truily make this game perfect!!!!!

I bet they have at least thought about it. It's almost evident with all the other features they've added to the game. Guess we'll soon see.

Mmm, very nice. I seriously wonder about 1 month delay, it looks perfect, done, and I doubt it takes too long to translate. Less they're throwing in new characters/stages, there be no reason for a delay. Oh well.

They're not, it's highly probably they're sorting out DVD/console shortages to make sure units and sales don't disappoint. I don't think more characters and stages are likely at all, infact, definite no. Just tweaks here and there, and making more units.

Creat a character would be too....
evil someone would make there charater perfect it and not use anything eles. If they were going to do that there would not be a need for any other charaters cause after awhile know one would use them anyway. that would be supied.

That item on Video 3 at 1:23 is from the Mario series and is called a HotHead. I think.

Im not sure if its an item or something that would just hurt you if you touched it.

I don't think its been announced though.

The game looks absolutely fantastic. I hope it isnt finished though, i mean there are loads of characters that still needed to be added and i hope they just keeping putting stuff on there, such as 1player modes.

Have they said anything on downloading updates such as special characters, stages and items?

I think it's very nearly finished, only tweaking needs to be done, besides, noone has any idea how many characters are in there. It's out in Japan in 2 weeks, so if they still had more characters to program, I'd be very worried indeed. Yes, I think it will go gold in the next week or so.

They've confirmed downloading other people's created stages, but as far as proper stages and characters go, I highly doubt it.

And the item is from Donkey Kong isn't it? Smilie After all, Freezie was shown in Melee for the first time since Mario Bros, so this would be a nice revival for the random Donkey Kong flame with eyes thing Smilie
