Nintendo News | Ignition Zombifies DS

By Mike Mason 25.10.2007

Ignition Entertainment have announced that they are bringing Teenage Zombies: Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys! exclusively to Nintendo DS in North America and Europe.

The story goes that the Earth is under attack by said ‘Alien Brain Thingies’, who are using all sorts of things in their arsenal such as ray-guns, mind control and spacecraft to wipe out the human race, who are failing miserably in their attempts to ward them off. However, with all this commotion some zombies have awoken from their graveyard, and sensing a bunch of nice braaaain-based meals the Teenage Zombies go forth to try to get hold of the delicacy to end all zombie delicacies: The Big Brain.

Teenage Zombies is a side-scrolling platformer with a strong 1950s sci-fi theme and is presented in a comic-book style. Gamers must switch between characters, each with different abilities, to progress through the game. As well as platforming action, dual-screen boss battles and stylus minigames are included, such as being asked to build up your own zombie or take part in puzzle challenges against The Big Brain.

Teenage Zombies: Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys! is due to come out in spring 2008. You can view a teaser trailer on the link below:
