Really could've chosen a better screen for Disaster, namely the one with the building collapsing across the street in front of you.

Disaster looks quite dissapointing and why is the so little detail on the mario kart screens especially the DK level from the gamecube game

Disaster looks SO MEH. Though I guess details were scarce, & noone was really incredibly interested in it. You never know.

Anyway, there's a screenshot with Sonic in it *dies*

& Peach with a bazooka/Cracker launcher thingy! Smilie

Im shocked at the quality at Disaster screens, it's so horrid.

Much better.

Mario Kart looks sex, i am pretty sure i spotted the GameCube classic track in DK Mountain. Mario Baseball looks good, i am a whore for mario sports titles, always have great multiplayer sessions from them. Although i wish it was Mario Golf instead.

Diaster looked jivin' in the above images, although it looks rather nice in modplan images.

i think Disaster got a long way to go but looking good and look like it got some really good game play that u can only do on wii

Mario Kart Wii is a god as allways love they add bikes but dont go with the name <_< it call Mario KART!!!! lol

Methinks Disaster has placed priority in weather, scale and general mayhem effects rather than character models and cars, which drags the game down a bit, especially in the main screen above.

BWii looks a hell of a lot better though, especially over the original. Opened out areas, bigger draw distance, better water, higher detail in general....I need that game.

Disaster: Day of Crisis will not be released until sometime in 2008. The Game is still probably in the Alpha state. The Graphics in this game will get better.

Sorry about that. Thanks

Nintendo makes the best grass in videogames hehehe... Have you guys seen the new Wii Music screen? Another example of great grass.

Disaster definitely looks weak right now, hopefully it will get better.

I am the only one that thinks Battalion wars 2 looks like it could be really good.

It seems to be getting hardly any coverage, and appears like it'll be overlooked when it's released.

Anyone else see the side-scrolling section in Mario Galaxy? Smilie

Not the only one.

And surely SideScrolling would invalidate the Capsule Gravity clause.

Disaster looks a bit awful, but Battalion Wars 2 is looking awesome. I'm very worried by the amount of cars and bikes in those Mario Kart screens though...

And I can't believe those percentage things in the Smash Bros screens are actually the real thing... They look so bad ;-;

I don't think they're the real thing. I think there's still time for them to be changed, as most screenshots & videos don't use them. Still, they may end up to be the final design. I think there's still time for change though.

It all looks nice apart from Day of Crisis which looks shite. Mario Kart And Super Mario Galaxy look as wonderful as ever with both being my biggest wants. I am getting a U.S Wii to play it and other games next year soon as. Still no new colours because of this crappy shortage issue. I would like to get another colour if possible without using unbranded mod kits.

Yeah but they're even in the gameplay videos now... I don't think there's any hope anymore ;_;

Well, I think it looked pretty unfinished to me. Not to mention the lack of music, the delay in release, etc. I think think there's a chance it could be changed ^^;

Also, someone wanna edit the news piece to get rid of the open underline tag? ^^;
