Nintendo Wii Media | Smash Update: Excitebike

Today's assist-filled update on the Smash Bros. website reveals the addition of the funky 2d sprite series of trophies, starting with Excitebike.

Assist Trophies are trophies that come to the aid of the player that called them out.

But these may not always be solid objects...

I think that in Smash, though, appearances are rarely what they seem.

By the way, there's also an Assist Trophy for this guy.

Be sure to stick with C3 for updates...

I think the secrets (characters/stages etc) won't be revealed until the game is released, so there will probably still be a bit to look forward too.

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

Well it's obvious he does think that. I think there will be a lot of stuff in brawl, so theres no way for it to be ruined by it's own website. Which is most likely why there's an update every day of the average work week. I'm guessing he feels like they're ruining the surprise of the game for him.

I'm not to excited about todays update though because the only 2D thing I wanna see is Mr. Game&Watch.Smilie

Yeah obvisouly they are gonna keep stuff hidden and not put them on the site most of the stuff that they are showing is unlocable right from the begining... so they are no secret! And if he thinks they are ruining the game for him he doesn't have to look at these updates!

Also i wish they keep Mr Game & Watch... i loved the guy in Melee... he was awsome! Smilie

I love ExciteBike so in turn I like this update. Another one that will please the Retro Crowd. There will be loads of secters to be found by all in the final game, of that you can be sure.

Awesome stuff. They're definitely going to be holding back some stuff to surprise us, so I'm not worried about that. I hope they come out with the Excitebike theme!
