Nintendo fans have had it rough while other formats received versions of the popular Guitar Hero series. Now, though, it's time to rejoice as the series finally debuts with Nintendo systems on Wii this year with Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock. For the uninitiated, Guitar Hero puts you in the role of a guitarist with aims of superstardom, as you strum your way through popular songs to make it to the top, complete with a controller that actually resembles a guitar.

In the Wii version, the Wii remote slots into the wireless guitar peripheral itself so that you can use its motion sensing to activate the point-multiplying Star Power mode with a swift tilt once your meter has charged sufficiently. Previously, this worked via a motion sensor built internally into the guitar controller itself.
