Ubisoft has today confirmed its new line-up of games coming between the third quarter of 2007 and 2008, including many 'casual' games for both Wii and Nintendo DS. Check out what is on offer below:

  • Brothers in Arms Road to Hill 30 - for Wii will be released in December.
  • CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION Hard Evidence - For the first time, CSI fans will be able to play CSI on Xbox 360 and the Wii home video game system from Nintendo this holiday.
  • Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 - The bunnies are back and crazier than ever in this new game specially developed for Wii and Nintendo DS this holiday.
  • Chessmaster: The Art of Learning for DS - Josh Waitzkin, International Master and eight-time National Chess Champion, coaches players to grasp the basic fundamentals of chess and to master the game through exciting courses and tutorials taken directly from his groundbreaking book, The Art of Learning (Free Press).
  • Cranium Kabookii - designed specifically for Wii, Cranium Kabookii is an all-new game where families jam, draw, act and puzzle as they collect points and take centre stage in the Kabookii Arena to win. Special Kabookii Decoder Glasses reveal secret answers for added fun!
  • Imagine - The Imagine line allows girls to explore their favourite interests and hobbies - as indicated by extensive lifestyle research on this audience - in an interactive and entertaining way with titles such as Fashion Designer, Happy Cooking and Pet Vet 2 for Nintendo DS and PC.
  • My Coach - Play and learn with this suite of entertaining training coaches that will teach you languages (My French Coach, My Spanish Coach) or help you to improve your expression (My Word Coach) for DS and Wii.

Smilie la la la la

*blocks out awful lineup and pretends ubisoft no longer exist*

Ubisoft seem to think that 99% of Wii/DS gamers are little girls.Smilie And CSI looks awful, they should have stuck with pre-rendered characters from previous games.

And who would want to buy Chess Training?

Sigh. Where's Red Steel Deux? C'mon Ubi, get your finger out and either cut back on the lifestyle games or make them better than a week's worth of development.

Isn't Red Steel 2 meant to be in ONM this week?

Wow. Tons of quality games. Right there. Smilie

If they actually put effort into Red Steel 2 then it could be quite good. Maybe.

My Word Coach could be a pretty fun trivia party game...if it has simultaneous multiplayer anyway. Yes I'm looking at you Brain Academy!

And what about the other 90% of Ubisofts budget for that year? :-/

Last update; Mice,Plumbers,Animatronics and Airbenders. We also have the socials; Facebook & G+

The only games which look any good are: Brothers in Arms Road to Hill 30 and Rayman Raving Rabbids 2; quiet dissapointing

Brothers in Arms should be a good game. I want to know more about Red Steel II, and remember that No More Heroes is now Ubisoft as well, so we have that to look forward to.

Ubi don't deserve any credit for No More Heroes although handling a quality Wii game may inspire them to put effort into their Wii lineup.

They just publish No More Heroes. They publishesd Morrowind and Oblivion in Europe, too and had almost nothing to do with it (but, yes, they did a good localising-job for Morrowind an Oblivion speech(!), German text was done at Bethesda and was a big disaster!). So Ubisoft doesn't always do bad jobs.
But this lineup is not very promising for me. Again Nintendo-consoles are considered as childrens-casual-kiddies stuff. *sigh* At least there is more rubbish then on Cube, making it probable to get some quality games with all this casual-shit. That's probability, guys. Douglas Adams knew it all along!

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

Brothers In Arms on DS Is Excellent though, GOOD Conversions CAN be made, they just usually arne't. I'll be keeping high hopes on this game none the less.

Crap, dire crap, dont buy any of it that especially means RRR2 which is Ubi's biggest seller on Wii alongside Red Steel. To hell with them and their crap.

rayman raving rubbish 2.

(but then, rrr2 isn't aimed at us, forumites, experienced gamers or Nintendophiles... it's for the young 'uns. maybe the under-12 crowd love it? and after all, kiddies and even utra-casuals need games to suit them too)
