Very nice, I hope this game turns out to be THE Tales game that sets the series permanently onto the Wii.
Was about to say that looks very good for the DS until I realised.
Cool to see Lloyd in the first pic, I think I know which town that is, hehe^^ Looking pretty nice, definitely want to get some more info, and soon >.<

Little improvement from ToS graphically it seems...
O well, I know I'll still love it.
Love this series, I will be keeping a eye on how this one progresses. Nice second screen {LS]
heh. compare to the original Tales here
it really is a lot nicer looking
Looks good.
But then, so did the original in-town views.
It was the over-world that sucked graphicaly.
I think it looks good considering how big the game is and the amount of environments that there are.
Sure. Polygoncount is much higher, but they used it for wider range and far scape. Much more graphical effects give the locations a much smoother and more atmospheric look then before. So, clearly, Kangaroo_Kid, these screens look imho much better then these from the first Tales game on Cube, don't you think?
I agreed with you first, but then I saw the other two shots. Second one, the garden, looks stunning and great. Third one - skeleton-cliff i call it - has a wide range, nicely laden ambience and eerie feeling to it.
Me likes!
The first one is from the original game, in that town you have to keep giving money to to rebuild.
Looks nice. I like the style a lot. I only rented Tales of Symphonia a while ago and didn't get to play it much, but I liked some aspects and disliked others. I hope this game will improve on what ToS had. I certainly prefer real-time battling to typical JRPG fare.
I want this to be great, but...theres a nagging feeling that it won't be
I think it will be roughly the same, hopfuly the story has been simplified and unstupified. I'm also hoping for better music, alot of it was pretty forgettable ToS.

I think it looks pretty, the technical flaws are easy to ignore from these screens.
I wonder if the overworld will be as shitecakes.
(actual image from the Gamecube game, not a Dreamcast game honest. Wait until you see what the enemies look like on it.
Why did the overworld look so bad.... would'nt that have been the easiest to make look decent? Just remember how much less resources the campaign map in Total War used that the actual gameplay.
The over world is a nice looking 2D map now from the looks of it, still kind of shows there incapable of making anice 3D one though.
Luin is very pretty looking with the new enhanced textures... I feel I have seen the forest before though.. is that Ozette? O_O
Luin looks exactly the same to me... Not very impressed... The map looks like it'll be shite too. I REALLY hope you don't just select towns to travel there, because that's what it looks like. It'd be one of the few ways that you could make an RPG more dull
