Nintendo Media | Zelda: Phantom Hourglass DS Trailer and TV Spot

By Jorge Ba-oh 18.06.2007 17

With the latest installment in Nintendo's ever-popular Zelda series hitting the DS this week in Japan, the media circuit has gone slightly mad in anticipation with yet another gorgeous trailer and an odd TV Spot to check out.

The trailer reveals a lot of the touch based mechanics discussed by Miyamoto in a recent Interview, such as pointing to a location to throw items, slashing/spin-attacking enemies and going head to head with fellow Hylians in multiplayer.

The TV Spot and a selection of other advertising can be seen on the Touch DS website.

Thanks to C3 readers Linkyshinks and Yoshidude for the tip.

I hate you.

Want it badly.

You'd give up your remaining right nut for it?

Looking beautiful. I really hope we get a decent release date soon.

Curse Zero and his Japanese l337 skillz!

Smilie That looks pretty fucking awsome! Smilie I hope this will come out before the end of the year!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

This makes it looks a lot more accessible than previous Zeldas...I hope that doesn't mean it's even easier than before. Zelda games are getting WAY to easy these days (both puzzles and combat wise).

^^ Amen to that, brother. But they are fun regardless.

This game keeps looking better and better every time I see it. To those like Oni who are getting tired of the same old Zelda formuala (whom I agree with to an extent) here is your answer.

I wish we would get a MM sequel. That game gave me an Idea of what would happen if you shook up the Zelda formula and it was awsome. Also where is the source for the release dates. because I saw 6 (symbol)23 (more symbols) ZAlso I shall definitly import. this looks awsome.

The boxart is the shit, more of the same Nintendo.

Sorry I did not see the shit Smilie < and I am a street as they come, trust me due. People round where I live say blood clat, stead of shit.Smilie[LS]

A few months of ZSimon gloating Smilie, the only solution is getting the game on U.S import, but when is the game due there, so many sites have conflicting dates Smilie, anyone know for sure, or has it not been revealed yet?
